Part 2 of MISSION & VISION series, “TO SERVE”!   Serve As an Accredited Diplomat AN AMBASSADOR!  (2 Corin 5:14-20)   Ambassador- an accredited diplomat with the highest rank, sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country. Accredited-AUTHORIZED!! Diplomat-An Official Representative!! The history of Saul: Acts 8:3 Saul persecuted the early Christians Acts 9, Saul was converted to Paul Vs 14-16, Paul comes to conclusion after thoroughly examining the facts! “one died for all, and therefore all died” States a conviction “One died for all” Draws a conclusion “Therefore all died” Rationalized the conclusion, that those that live should no longer live for themselves May 2015, There was a couple out of Nashville ARK, Michael and Melissa that died in a storm shielding ultimately saving their child. 1 corin 16:20 “ you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies”. Vs 17 “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature” Through Baptism he has become new, morally and spiritually! Perverse inclinations and SINS, are buried with Christ! JESUS HAS GIVEN YOU THE AUTHORITY TO BE HIS OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE! VS 18 -19, We have the ability to give, what was given to us, “Reconciliation”! Wiping out mans sin (jn 3:16) Vs 20-21, Commissioned to serve AS AN ACCREDITED DIPLOMAT! Preach the Gospel Tell of His Goodness Tell of His Love SOMEBODY NEEDS TO BE “BESEECHED” (Rom 12:1)   YOU ARE A REPRESENTATIVE, AND YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE AUTHORITY THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT  TO SERVE AS “HIS AMBASSADOR”!!

Part 1 of Vision and Mission Series; “TO KNOW, TO LOVE, TO SERVE, JESUS CHRIST, AND MAKE HIM KNOWN TO ALL OTHERS”!    KNOW, LOVE (PSALM 46:1-11) Psalm 46 is a song of Trust, a song that rejoices in the deliverance that the Lord gives His people in the midst of a fearsome battle or siege. BATTLE- A sustained fight between Armed Forces. SEIGE- A military operation in which your enemy surrounds you and cuts off all supplies, with the objective of surrender. Vs 1, God is my impenetrable Fortress; Paul better describes our daily predicament in this way( 2 corin 4;8-9) “we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed, perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not abandoned, struck down, but not destroyed”  Does anybody KNOW, that God loves you? Vs 2, “Therefore, we will not fear”,  Fear triggers anxiety, it is a strong emotional reaction to a perceived danger, Fear can cause physical harm. Well how do we combat fear?  Does anybody KNOW that God loves you? VS 3-5, The Earth tremble, Mountains crumble, Water rages, I WILL NOT BE MOVED. Vs 5-9 God is ABLE, even to bring creation under subjection!! Vs 10-11 “BE STILL AND KNOW”, “I WILL BE ELALTED”.
