Our guest today is the first honouree British Coach to come onto the Pick and Pop Podcast.  In a coaching career in the BBL that has seen him build a power house franchise and win 13 major trophies and be named BBL coach of the year 6 times we sit down with Coach Rob Paternostro.  This is a great insight into how Coach Rob builds a great culture, recruits top players and works on a daily basis.

Episode 8 of the Pick and Pop Podcast features a rising star in British coaching - Coach Kenrick Liburd.  Currently Head Coach of Great Britain U.18's girls and Nottingham Wildcats, he talks about his incredible journey both in America and the UK and the lessons he has learned along the way.  On our Youtube channel - Pick and Pop Podcast you can find Coach Kenrick giving an excellent presentation on his team philosophy and the building blocks to put together a successful team/program.  This is not on the MP3 version uploaded here.  

Episode 7 - In this episode we talk to Coach Donna Finnie.  The only British  Coach that is a Head Coach at the NCAA D1 college level.  She has a great background story and then talks in detail about how she runs her program and the types of players she aims to recruit.  She is a real trail blazer for British coaching and I hope this story will inspire others to take a similar route.  

Episode 6 of the Pick and Pop Podcast is with one of the rising stars of British Coaching - Coach James Vear.   He has already coached professionally in Canada and Denmark, and at present is the Head Coach of one of the top Academies in the UK - Barking Abbey.  We go through his unique journey from player to coach and talk about many of his experiences along the way.  Coach James gives a great 20 minute presentation on Spread Motion offense and how he has adapted and evolved these concepts with Barking Abbey.  This is not on this MP3 version so please go over to our Youtube Channel to view it.

Episode 4 of the Pick and Pop Podcast on Wednesday is with another legend of British coaching.  Coach John Collins holds the incredible distinction of coaching in the first men's and women's National leagues.  With a career that spans over 50 years !!!!, a women's National league dynasty at Avon Northampton and England National team coach this is an incredible story of his journey and how he has changed as a coach throughout the years.
