6: Times Are Evolving, So Stay True and Stay Humble with Susan Friesen
We often hear - follow your passion, follow your dreams, do what excites you. So, then you do it. You learn the skills, you figure out the technicalities, the processes, the structure. But, as time moves on, do you move with it? Or do you give up? For Susan Friesen, getting into web development early on where even a Google search bar was non-existent, she had to learn her craft almost from the start on how coding and graphic design began. And fast forward now twenty years later, she could have easily quit when things were rapidly evolving, but instead she put in the work.  Susan and I chat about how you must stay focused, humble and diligent while you’re creating your business. We talk about how you must stay committed, even in this thing we call our passion, because as the ever evolving online world tells us every single day - there is always something better and shinier. A conversation about humility and dedication. Find Susan online at: eVision Media Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/susanfrie Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susan.evisionmedia/

5: You Love What You Do and QUIT? Then Build it All on Your Terms?
Are you in an industry you already love - where waking up, clocking in and out and showing up gives you purpose? But, you quit and create your own company? That takes some serious GUTS! Most of us who love what we do, will happily stay put. If there are opportunities for improvement, it's easier to let the company handle them. Dr. Katie D'Amato showcases that in the field of physical therapy, she still saw gaps and opportunities that weren't providing the much-needed service for her clients due to limited means, resources and policies. So what did she do? Created her own company to provide this.  Balanced by Katie is designed for a more personal approach regarding healing and rehabilitation from an injury or surgery. She describes how resources for patients are getting cut and many injuries end up being left untreated. Her care for people and their well-being was strong enough to branch out and solve the problem by providing lengthier and more detailed support.  Are you courageous enough to do the same? Listen in and hit that 5th STAR on the ratings. It's like giving us a HIGH FIVE! Find Katie on: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/balancedbykatie Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/balancedbykatie/ Website: https://www.balancedbykatie.com/ Also......... 4: What's More Important: Your People or Making Money?
It's a tough question we ask ourselves - if we had to choose our people versus making money. Yet, so many ... I mean SO MANY of us will always say we are in business to make money. Well then, who gets you there?  Even if you're an entrepreneur, solopreneur and working at a corporation, you are taught that business is successful with the amount of money you bring in. Rarely do we talk about who helps us get that success - our teams.  In this episode, I talk about how two minutes in your day can actually help save you $12,000 in employee turnover ... yes, TWO MINUTES in your whole work day. Learn more about CAPS studies - get the guide HERE. You'll also learn how to start your focus each day so you can truly see what the day will offer you.  If you want more information, go to www.piaharriman.com and click LEARN MORE to get in the Groundbreaker Email Club. 3: The Secret to an Award Winning Team: The WOW Customer Service Factor
As we close out the year and enter a new one, we are getting ready for a new everything. We strive to be better, eat better, and succeed in our businesses. But did we ever stop and think to get better at our service? And to take it to the next level, do you have what it takes to be a leader and serve your employees? Often it is easy to forget that how we treat others does not affect our profit line. This is not only harmful, but irresponsible. In this episode, I talk about the topic that is near and dear, and how I was able to lead award winning teams – by selling service.  I share a few WOW (the term where your customer left your company feeling WOW) service stories and concepts on how to train you to become a stronger leader, being laser focused on who are in your charge.  Leave me a review on this episode as I would love to share it on upcoming podcast episodes. And click the 5th star on the right! ;) Like the Pink Podcast Facebook page so that you can get in on when another episode is on its way... plus much more! Pink Seed Podcast on Facebook

2: Be the Selfless Leader with Dee Davis
Listen in on my conversation with former WNBA player Deonna "Dee" Davis and how she tells her story of great opportunities such as a full college scholarship, heavily sought out by several colleges throughout high school, hearing non stop "YES" to adversity and "I don't want you." How she chose to teach what she had learned so that many young athletes won't fall victim to the hype and false promises just for their own financial gains.  Dee shows how being a coach is the same as managing a company. You direct the players, but it takes a leader to win as a team. From playing professionally internationally to locally, Dee still remains grounded and humble. Dee wrote her book - The Players Guide to College Hoops, with a focus on why it is important to pay attention while others will try to manipulate, mislead or over-promise promotions than to just give in to what looks great and appealing ... and easy.  Dee can be found on Instagram and Facebook.   Her book - The Players Guide to College Hoops can be purchased on Amazon or DeeDavisBasketball.com DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE AND LEAVE A 5* REVIEW!

1: The "Why" This Podcast is Here and Take Me Back to When You First Started
It's official! The Pink Seed Podcast is LIVE!  This episode is EP1: The Why.  Here I showcase the reason why connection and creating better teams at work has become my mission in life, and am sharing it via podcast. We all have to work either to pay our bills or build a great lifestyle. Either way, you show up, clock in and go. But wait... does it just have to stay like that? Every morning you clock in is an opportunity for you to help become bigger than yourself and serving those around you to greatness.  I still receive notes today ... yes TODAY, from past employees that thank me in helping them find their north star.  I linked all the previous thank you notes, catch-ups and stop ins with one main message, "Thank you for helping me believe in myself." And these small wins were directly from those I worked with.  This is you .. it must be. You're tuning in because you're interested in becoming more. You believe that you can create a legacy, in a job you have today. Remember your first day at work (even if it was twelve years ago) and how excited you were? Why does that excitement and gratitude have to change? Because it is natural to become complacent and needy. When you harbor selfish thoughts for your own personal game ... this is were you lose.  I hope you enjoy Ep. 1! Don't forget to go to www.piaharriman.com and sign up for the GroundBreaker Email Club (It's Free!). Here you will stay connected with me and our community of leaders at the workplace.  Look around at service today. We need you to step it up and make a change now.  Don't forget to leave me a review!
