My childhood friend, Tyler Mason, made a big leap. Sabrina Tarbox is someone I’ve come to know in only the past three years. Growing up in rural, east Texas, Sabrina’s childhood centered around the rustic life. She grew up feeding her goats, running around and playing outside, and hearing comments that suggested she was “heavy, beefy, or too stocky.” When her father died, Sabrina began a journey to discovering who God was to her: “I don’t have a father, so you’ll have to be my Father now,” she’d said. I first heard the talented Danny Polo when he won my school’s talent show in college and have been following his career ever since. Sheryl Kambuni is originally of the Kisii Tribe from Nairobi, Kenya, but she attends school outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee in the United States. She’s traveled to America to study psychology in the hopes of establishing her own firm in Kenya to assist her people’s mental health needs. At the end of last summer, I drove over to my friend Marc-Anthony’s house for a haircut. After he had me looking straight, we were able to sit down and discuss life.
