When Chris Grier heads to the kitchen, you know he is about to cook up something. This time? He cooked up a recipe for a three-time All-Pro Cornerback in JALEN RAMSEY. That's right, citizens of Perfectville, arguably the best cornerback in football joins Xavien Howard, Bradley Chubb, Jevon Holland, Jaelen Phillips, Christian Wilkins and Zach Sieler on the Miami Dolphins defense which is now coached by the architect of modren NFL defense, Vic Fangio. And what did this trade cost Miami, you ask? A third round draft pick and Hunter Long. That's it... Miami makes the January dance as they beat The Jets and New England loses to secure the seventh seed and a wildcard date with The Bills in Buffalo. That's the good news. The bad news is that Miami will have to do it without their starting QB, Tua Tagovailoa and will most likely be starting their third string, 7th round draft pick, rookie QB, Skylar Thompson. Less than ideal for Miami's first playoff appearance in many years. However, Sam and Chris walk through what would need to happen to advance to the next round and whether or not The Dolphins can shock the world in Western New York. Miami heads into the final week of the season on a fiv game losing streak and needing help to get into the playoffs. In November, this team was 8-3 and at the top of the AFC. Now, five weeks later, they haven't won a game since and are on the outside looking in. The DOlphins will need to bet the Joe Flacco led Jets, and hope that Buffalo is able to beat New England, in order to sneak into the playoffs. What happened? What went wrong? Sam and Chris join forces once again, to sift through the rubble of the 2022 season and see if they can find a glimmer of hope to hang on to. Speaking of hope, everyone in the town of Perfectville is hopefull that THIS will be the year for Zach Thomas to finally make it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. On the verge of clinching the playoffs for the past month, The Miami Dolphins continue to defy greatness in preference of mediocrity and despair. Losing to the Packers on Christmas Day continues their traditional December meltdown as they are now losers of four in a row. Somehow, some way, Miami is still in control of their own destiny as they head into the last two weeks of the season, but may have to do so without their QB as Tua Tagovailoa has been placed into concussion protocol again. How does Miami conitnue to find ways to falter? Are people in danger of losing their jobs? Sam and Chris discuss all this Miami on this derpessing trip to Perfectville. Another week, another victory for Tua Tagovailoa and The Miami Dolphins. Miami slaps Houston across the face with 30 points in the first half and takes a breather in the 2nd half, ultimately winning 30-15. Tua had 299 yards and a touchdown in just over two quarters of play, the defense dominated Houston, netting more return yards of turnovers in the first half than Houston had on offense, and the only real concern in how Terron Armstead is doing with his injured pec. Miami is 8-3, first in their division and nd in their conference. The playoffs are in sight, but first, a gauntlent of a road trip awaits with San Francisco, Los Angles and Buffalo standing in their way before they come home on Christmas Day. Can they sweep the road trip? If they do...look out...

After riding the euphoria of three straight victories to start the season, Miami fans are back to square one as a losing streak is officially upon The Dolphins. Miami loses it's third game in a row, this time to The Minnesota Vikings, and drop their overall record .500. Despite moving the ball on offense with a patchwork lineup, and playing fairly solid defense, the team couldn't overcome their own mistakes with penalties, turnovers and more injuries than we have seen in a long, long time. Well, we can't say we weren't warned. Robest Saleh came out and told everyone that these weren't the same ol' Jets, and he was right. But apparently, these are the same ol' Dolphins because they have once again squandared a quick Seotember start with a bleak October swoon. Nothing outside of Raheem Mostert ran smoothly for Miami in this one. The defense is in shambles, the quarterback room is depleted and the offensive line is gross...again. Hell, even the kicker isn't safe anymore!
