Tour Update - July 9, 2017
L'Anse aux Meadows, NL - In this update, I talk about why I'm currently vanless (there was a dangerous autocorrect here), my journey from Moncton, NB to L'Anse aux Meadows (the most northern part of Newfoundland), my family's history in Newfoundland (including a pretty intense moose accident) and the incredible Lighthouse Inn I found in Burlington, NL.  P.S. I recorded this on July 9th and it took me until July 11th to actually find an strong enough cell phone connection to upload it.

003 - The Grandmaster
Born in China and now a Canadian citizen, Grandmaster Pan has truly lived an exceptional life. In between his training sessions in a backyard of a suburban home in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Pan and I sit down to talk about competing with grown men in martial arts tournaments as a boy, to teaching kung fu to the Chinese special forces, to staring in movies with Jet Li, Billy Blanks, and Roddy Piper.    Additional notes along with the photography and videography for this episode can be found at www.peopleplacething.com/episodes/003-the-grandmaster

002 - The Existential Economist
When you've taught over 10% of a university's students and can say you were a member of the original founding class, it's safe to call the University of Waterloo "your own". I talk to Larry Smith -- famous for the iconic "Why you'll fail to have a great career” TED Talk -- about his family history, problem solving, quantum dreams and the legacy of Walt Disney.  Additional notes along with the photography and videography for this episode can be found at www.peopleplacething.com/episodes/002-the-existential-economist
