You nicely and sweetly ask your son or daughter to put their phones down and you are met with resistance, rudeness, the eye roll, a shoulder shrug and ignored. Boom. I recently came across a documentary that really opened my eyes. And here I was thinking I was in the know regarding what kids today are doing online. How wrong was I! I think many parents are in denial as to how addicted their kids actually are to their online games and social media accounts. I mean who wants to admit to that? And anyway, how do you know?
