Happy Holidays to all! I will never forget the time and conversation with my next guest, Mr. Kelvin Nivens. We touched on his childhood, high school years, college, being a personal trainer and what it means to truly connect with people. This man has a big heart, in fact, Kelvin is really one of those people that you can see the love dripping out of their soul. I hope that anyone that listens to this amazing man's words leaves this podcast seeing the world differently. Kelvin really cares about people and the way he connects with us is on a whole different level.

Health and Mindset Coach Victor Rey
Victor Rey is a Salinas, Ca central coast native who grew up in a small farming community. He's accomplished so much in his life but, there was a point that he started to feel like what he had done was the end of his story. The next part of his journey proves that social media can be a helpful tool if used correctly, he also had to walk by faith. His new chapter involved reaching out to a man that he had never met before. This move would be the beginning of Victor's new life and his approach to it.

Pastor Jerry Morales Victory Outreach Church Surf City Santa Cruz, Ca
The Mind Body Soul Experiment starts with my good friend Pastor Jerry Morales. This conversation was absolutely incredible. I've had some time with Pastor Jerry but, to hear his story raw and straight from him was profound. The following day, after recording, I was overflowing with joy and happiness. This man has done so much for the community. As a matter of fact, when I announced he was coming on the show so many people reached out to tell their own experiences with him. When somebody has that type of impact on the world around them it paints a picture of the potential of what humanity can be. I'm proud to present the first episode of season 3 and hope you enjoy it as much I did recording it.

Tanika Patel Gonzalez featuring guest host Rohana Shultz
Our next guest is truly special to me. We actually tried to do an episode together but it was awkward. we know so much about each other and asking questions that I already knew the answers to seemed off. She’s my biggest fan and my best friend. She was born in London and moved to Santa cruz when she was 8. She’s grown her make up business into an extremely well known brand along with her own eyelash line mink and lashes. She’s a mommy Instagram influencer and damned good at it too! She’s an incredible mom and has perfected taming this Lion. She’s worked her tail off getting to where she is today and I couldn’t be more proud. Please welcome my wife, Tanika Patel Gonzalez!

This podcast features someone I’ve been very grateful to know for a long time. Every interaction with this man is nothing but positive and love….. and I’m not exaggerating in anyway, shape or form. If you’ve been lucky enough to be in his presence, then you know. He’s put in work in the Santa Cruz rap scene and helped form the well known hip hop group Krooked family. He’s known locally for having “hands” and although he’s not an aggressor, he’s willing to end confrontations with words or…. I’m proud he’s decided to put more focus on training and working with Santa Cruz’s own mma fighter Daniel Compton. He’s extremely impressive in the ring. It’s not how hard you can hit, but rather how hard you can get hit and this man is acutely aware of this. I’ve seen him take some hits and it’s almost scary how he doesn’t budge or flinch. I’m so honored to have this man on the podcast. He’s also great friend to have.

Ultra Runner Chick SC Rohana Shultz
My next guest is simply incredible. She’s done Ironman triathlons, ultra man races, and her vibrations are on a whole different level. She was very open and I couldn’t be more thankful and grateful to her for bringing some much needed positive feminine spirit into the studio. Her life experiences are unique and like her brother, Ashoka McCormick , she is kind and gentle…. But she could break off the strongest of strong if you get her way! Nico Never Scared
My next guest has unique gift for seeing the world through a creative thinkers eyes. He sounds like a seasoned Fortune 500 ceo talking to a journalist for Forbes magazine. He’s extremely well versed and knows that no successful man is self made. Having a conversation like we had on this episode, can be rare or almost non existent. It can be difficult to think on the levels we touched on , but once you’ve had a taste, it’s hard to think any other way. I was overly impressed with the team and people he described being in his circle. Having this type of mentality and circle of people you truly trust is what takes you to the promises lands. This man has mastered the power of belief in ones self. I hope you enjoy this amazing conversation.

The Santa Cruz Car Club featuring President Raul Guzman and Vice President Adrian Salgado
This podcast is special to me. It’s a blending of culture and my home town Santa Cruz Californian. I sat down with Raul Guzman and Adrian Salgado the President and Vice President of the Santa Cruz car club. These men are making a name for Santa Cruz in the lowriding scene. The Santa Cruz car club was established in 2019 and is blowing up on the central coast and surrounding areas. These two men started with lowrider bikes at a young age and expanded it to lowrider cars as they got older. This was a great conversation on how it was growing up on the westside of Santa Cruz, starting their bike cruises and how they started the Santa Cruz car club. If you love lowriding you’ll love this episode.

David Salinas has worked harder than most to get where he is today, but hard work pays off. Knowing what your purpose is can be the guiding light to your true potential. David has tapped into that light. We spoke about his time in high school, working twice as hard as his peers in community college to get to the same place, his sociology degree from San Jose state university, and the Aptos high school stabbing which left three families in devastation a few weeks ago.

Tom Laughron Santa Cruz Maniaccs SE Bike Team
Last weekend, (08/21/21) in Santa Cruz, Ca, we had the bmx ride out of all ride outs! Thousands of people came here from far and wide to experience bike life the Santa Cruz way! Unfortunately, the ride out was not permitted by the city and there was a huge backlash from the event. Tom Laughron, the event coordinator, was hit hard by the community and law enforcement. I know Tom personally and decided to reach out and see if he could shed some light on the story from the bikers point of view. We had a great conversation. I urge the community to take a step back and listen to what he has to say and how he would like to move forward with the event in the future.

Luis Macias creator and owner of Optimized Detailing in Salinas, Ca
My next guest is quite incredible. He is the son of migrant workers and he himself worked in the fields along side them. Learning the true value of work and the dollar. He moved around the state because the life of a migrant worker forces you to go where the work is at the time. He made many connections and used the situation to his advantage. Ending up in Salinas, Ca he worked many different jobs until he found his passion. Auto detailing. This is his story and the path he took to get there. Mooky is an amazing individual that has put his life on the line for his Marine Corp brothers and sisters and our country. Marine Veteran, American Ninja Warrior & Father Mr. James Sclar
James Sclar is a marine veteran, an American ninja warrior, surfer, skater, yogi, cannabis connoisseur and, an amazing father. This was his first time guesting on a podcast and I’m thankful it was paid the cost podcast he was featured on. He dropped a lot of life lessons about how to adapt and how to discipline his mind to get through challenges he faced. I appreciated listening and being in the moment with him for an inside look into how he did it all.
