042 Journal #9 "Monotheism minus one" Part 2
Growing up there was never a bigger threat to the faith then the idea of atheism. But the questions is, has my view towards atheists changed? Or do I judge their certainty with the same standard I do with Christianity? Join me and Pastor Jason Tripp as we discuss facing other types of faiths and beliefs…including monotheism minus one.   Host: Sam Morse Guest: Pastor Jason Tripp Podcast Artwork: www.paulmorse.ca

032 Journal #8 "Revelations we left behind" Part 2
I'm sure to many in the community of deconstruction (or those who have possibly walked away from their faith) Revelation/End Times Prophecy either left you fearful or filled with unanswerable questions. I had a lot of anxiety growing up about the concept and theories behind "end times prophecy". Join me and Dr. Spencer Boersma as we discuss the complex topic of the book of Revelation.   Host: Sam Morse Guest Host: Dr. Spencer Boersma Podcast Artwork: www.paulmorse.ca

030 Interview #5 "Stacie Rae (The Resting Traveler: Into the Forest) Part 2
This week I have an author as a guest of the show. I am so happy to welcome Stacie Rae the wonderful author of the book “The Resting Traveler: Into the Forest”. She is from the lovely British Columbia Canada (a fellow Canadian) where her and her husband raise their family. I first heard of Stacie Rae through a friend of the show Dr. Clint from the Mindshift podcast. He spoke to Stacie a few weeks back and messaged me to be like you need to get this fellow Canuck on your show ASAP because she is awesome. We had such a great conversation about our journey through belief. Host: Sam Morse Guest: Stacie Rae Podcast Artwork: www.paulmorse.ca

028 Interview #4 "Seth Price (Can I Say This at Church Podcast)" Part 2
It is time for another amazing discussion with a fellow podcaster who is also along the complex journey that is "deconstruction". Seth Price is the amazing host of the Podcast "Can I Say This at Church". Show's Story: In the fall of 2017 an idea was born but it had been growing for so much longer than that, and that idea was the Can I Say This At Church Podcast. Here's the story: A group of friends (mostly from College) gathered, talked, argued, and debated everything from politics to Jesus and why the Patriots ALWAYS get the call! I realized soon (thanks social media!) that we were not a minority and so many others were having these same conversations; or not having them and just leaving the Church altogether. And so, after roughly ten years of deconstructing, reconstructing, rinse- wash-repeat. Something resembling a new faith and a new passion for Jesus emerged; and this pocast is the outpouring of that. Each week a new episode will go live with a guest; or to frame it better, someone that can hopefully help give us new ideas and thoughts to chew on as we grow and stretch our faith.   Host: Sam Morse Guest: Seth Price Podcast Artwork: www.paulmorse.ca

026 Interview #3 "Dr. Clint Heacock - Mindshift" Part 2
It is time for my third interview with Dr. Clint Heacock from the amazing podcast "Mindshift". Dr. Clint is a transplanted American living in the United Kingdom with his wife and family. He attended bible college in Portland where he completed his bachelor’s in biblical education. He then completed his masters in Exegetical Theology in Portland. He moved to the UK in 2005 where he finished his PhD at the university of Chester where his biblical these focused on biblical studies: a rhetorical-critical study of the book of Ezekiel and also combined his study with a postmodern approach to narrative preaching. Currently he is the host of the podcast “Mindshift” which focuses on the journey of deconstruction and discovery. It helps serve the community that is in the process of deconstructing their Christian faith. Host: Sam Morse Guest: Dr. Clint Heacock Podcast Artwork: www.paulmorse.ca

024 Movie Review #2 "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" Part 2
The second movie review chosen for the podcast was definitely not the easiest of films to watch. The movie "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" hits some major themes and scenarios of life that are sadly far too common. While watching the film I wrote down some of them... Themes: Racism, Depression, Violent Crime, Pain and Tragedy, Last Words and Regrets, Police Culture, Domestic Abuse, Alcoholism, Small Town Gossip, Religious Shaming, Terminal Illness, Suicide, Vengeance, Hopelessness. The movies difficult real life themes were emotionally draining, but at the end of it we were left thinking and with our minds expanded to be more empathetic to those suffering from tragic life experiences.
