Bishop Aaron Blake and his wife, Mary, fostered 6 teenage boys which transformed their lives and their church. Bishop Blake challenged his congregation to stand with him for foster children and Stand Sunday was born.

Through Orphan Sunday, pro-life bio parents of 3 boys, DJ & Glorya Jordan had their eyes opened to the gravity of the need in the US foster care system. As a result, they became foster parents and have adopted their daughter through foster care.

After their church observed Orphan Sunday in Zimbabwe, the Gweshe’s began to talk about adoption. They listened to the voice of God and eventually adopted their little daughter. Now the Gweshe’s are passionate about adoption.

Our guest is Oklahoma orphan advocate and soon to be adoptive mom - Misty Seale. Misty was impacted by that fact that her church did NOT observe Orphan Sunday in 2013. That day she heard God say, “I want to use you. Just say, “yes.” Misty did say yes to God and the following year on Orphan Sunday 2014 her church launched Love Does an orphan care ministry bringing awareness to children in foster care and supporting foster & adoptive families.
