Short Show today? Only 30 minutes?!? On this episode of Organized Chaos, The Shadow and Robert Krueger (Lil Bobby) kick it off with what the heck is up in their lives.  Yes, it does start off interestingly... actually I'm not sure what to say here... I love the smell of napalm in the morning... The Shadow and Cipee went to see Fiddlesticks perform at the Cheyenne Symphony on Saturday.  Oh man... they did Ride of the Valkyries and GRIEG!  Among others... the performance was INCREDIBLE! Speaking of incredible, HUGE shout out to CHLOE PATRICK for her upcoming CSU Senior Recital this Friday!  We got to attend her rehearsal earlier this week and she made that flute SING!  It was absolutely phenomenal... yes we talk about this in the show. Hello? Is it me you're looking for? No comment. Managing your Emotions! Some great tips! We finally made it to the suggestions on "Managing Your Emotions."  We cover some fun tips and solutions on ways to deal with negativity as well as understanding how we respond to emotions.  Then we'll chat about some ideas on how to manage these emotions.  Here are some bullet points:  Identify what you're really feeling Acknowledge and Appreciate your emotions THE SHADOW ADDED IN - know where the message is coming from - is it truth?  Or lies from the enemy? Get curious about the message this emotion is "offering you." Get confident Develop certainty that you can, not only handle this today, but also in the future Get excited and take action There's more detail in the show! Preston from Spiritual Plague? Someone visits the studio... someone... "Mad"? On this episode of Organized Chaos, The Shadow and Lil Bobby kick it off with what the heck is up in their lives.  Also a guest shows up in the studio... a presence we've not felt since.......... The NEW way to do Worship Music! Yes, worship music seems to be made for a... well... 1st grader... it's just so simple and so uninteresting musically it seems.  Don't get us wrong, there's still some GREAT music out there, but lately, we've felt... well... let down.  We let you in on our thoughts and a suggestion we have.  Thanks Tim.  You are the man. Star Trek and Donuts These definitely do NOT relate!  Or do they?  Yes there is a story behind Star Trek.  There's always a story... The Shadow decides it's time to embrace our inner nerds again.  For it's been far too long.  Baconator anyone? Frustration and the Mad Scientist No these are NOT related!!  And I do mean that.  The Shadow shares an interesting frustration and unrest that leads to super-positive solutions and also a cool life hack!  AND The Mad Scientist gives us the update on his life since we last heard from him. The 10-Day Challenge FINALE! WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!  10 days!  Successful!  We share our thoughts, experience, things learned, and other random musings. A GREAT Morning Ritual We had some cool suggestions for a great morning ritual to start your day on the positive!  We talk about the following ideas and add a few of our own in.  The link to the full morning ritual suggestion is also below.  Here is a list of ideas (we talk about) for starting your morning off right! Smile (seriously - try NOT to be happy when you smile) Stretch (helps stretch muscles and increase circulation) Breathe (slowly and methodically - helps with good circulation!) Drink 8-16 ounces (2 full cups) of water right when you get up Move your body around (get the body warmed up and blood pumping) Engage your emotions in a thankful and positive way.  Thank God. Remind yourself of your vision/purpose in life and that day (even if it's small) Feed your mind with positive things (scripture, books, podcasts) Get RID of the news!  It's all negative. Plan your day (although we recommend planning your day the day before!) Have some accountability and encouragement from another person Workout/Exercise And The Shadow added in - DRINK COFFEE!  :)
