27. Live Intentionally
Life is interesting in that our branes are built such that they want to always find the easiest ways to do things. This helps, but it can also go too far if you let it. Not who you are underneath
We are wired to do what we think about often, and more so by what we do often, we can use this to change who we are underneath rather than to forever be governed by it and our past actions. In order to become a new person, you can choose to act as that new person would act. And by consistently doing those things you will re-wire your thoughts, and your instinctive actions to become that new person.Become a PatronOnePercentImproved.comSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/josephwmiller)

How do you stop existing and start living?
Sometimes we look out and see all the things we need to do and it scares us. It seems all too big, or too much. My daughters do this sometimes. They say they can’t do their chore because there is too much. So they flop on the ground and don’t even want to do it. They would rather find some distraction and not have to do the chore. This can happen to us adults just as easily. We may not pout on the floor, but we vertically can find some distraction to keep from doing what seems like a monumental task. To each of us, I will say the same thing I say to them. How do you eat an elephant? - One bite at a time. https://onepercentimproved.com/episode13/Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/josephwmiller)
