REVISIT: Why Context And Language Matters + Making Space For Everyone (And Not Just For Optics) with Dr. Carrie Kholi-Murchison

We’re revisiting an episode from last year, because it feels more relevant now than ever. For everyone saying they want to make change and listen, there are ideas in this episode that you can do today. If you already heard this episode, please listen to it again and then share it with at least one person in your life.  I’m talking to Dr. Carrie Kholi-Murchison (she goes by Kholi). Kholi is an entrepreneur and growth strategist that helps define brands and growing communities. She’s also the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Whole30. She holds a PhD in Literatures in English, where she studied transhistorical theories of change and revolution.  In this episode, Kholi and I discuss how much context and language matters, her personal struggles with identity and race, how we can do diversity and inclusion better, and making space for everyone (not just for optics, but truly making space and opportunities for everyone).  Here’s Kholi:    Show Notes:   Dr. Carrie Kholi-Murchison’s Website + Instagram  Campaign Zero  Know Your Rights Camp  ****
