After having the week off to prepare, Jarleth Eaton, Jack "Gobby" Garwood and Mike Duffy are back with On The Oche. This week, it's the William Darts World Championship preview show, as the boys take a look at everything you need to know ahead of the big one at Alexandra Palace. Jar, Jack and Mike will go through all four quarters of the draw and pick out their tie of the first round, their seed in the biggest danger, and who will make it to semis, before giving their predictions as to who will lift the Sid Waddell Trophy on New Year's Day. In between all that, the Weekly Dartscast's Alex Moss and Burton DeWitt, PDC TV's Chris Murphy, and Sky Sports' Devon Petersen (who is also playing on the opening night) and Wayne Mardle all join the show to give their thoughts on what will happen at the Palace. Jarleth Eaton and Mike Duffy join forces to look back on a ridiculous week of darts in this episode of On The Oche. Minus Jack "Gobby” Garwood, the boys look back on the two Players Championship events in Dublin, which saw Gerwyn Price and José de Sousa pick up titles. After this, they turn their attention to the BoyleSports World Grand Prix, and dissect one of the maddest TV tournaments in a while. They look at all the stories, pick their games of the tournament, and Jar speaks to "Hollywood" Chris Dobey about reaching his maiden TV semi final. He was knocked out by the eventual winner, Michael van Gerwen, who won his fifth World Grand Prix title and became the first player to retain the title in Dublin for 10 years. Jar then asks was the world number one ever in a crisis, while Mike sings the praises of Dave Chisnall for making another TV final. The boys then turn their attention to the final two Players Championship events this week, which saw Brendan Dolan and Peter Wright win in Barnsley, and look at who has and has not qualified for the Ladbrokes Players Championship Finals in Minehead. As well as Ratajski's success, Jar, Gobby and Mike look back at all the rest of the stories from Gibraltar, including who qualified for the European Championship, and Dave Chisnall's nine darter v James Wade in the quarter finals. The boys start off by reviewing the latest leg of the World Series, the Melbourne Masters, which saw MvG pick up his World Series crown of the year to end his barren spell. As well as discussing whether the world number one's crisis is over, Mike, Jar and Jack dissect all the other talking points from the weekend, including whether Rob Cross v Daryl Gurney is the future rivalry of the game, and how long we have left of MvG v Gary Anderson, the greatest rivalry in the sport at the moment. After this, Mike plays mediator as Jar and Jack go head-to-head in the next #OTODebates. This week, Gobby picks the UK and Ireland team to face Jar's Rest of the World team in a "Ryder Cup of Darts" event, explaining why their side would win it.
