A quite unexpected treat as we explored the rabbit warren that is St Basil’s in Red Square.

I've lost count - almost - of the number of times I've visited this gorgeous city on Canada's west coast. My first experience of it was in the Fall, a lovely time of year when the maples burst out into their autumnal glory. This is just a quick sample of the delights of Vancouver.

No one can fail to find something of interest in this amazing city ... the one that never sleeps, according to the song. I've been there a few times, and each time I've loved it - winter or summer, spring or fall, it's amazing.

I've visited Italy many times. It's a country in which I could happily live, I think. From my first view of Rome as a young Aussie kid abroad to painting holidays, walking the countryside, and indulging in the sights, sounds, and food of Venice, Umbria, and Tuscany, it's been a joy. Here are a few audio memories from various visits.

In 2015, I travelled from Athens to Gallipoli to take part in the ANZAC Centenary celebrations and to honour a family member who died during the campaign. Needless to say, it was an unforgettable experoence.
