Sorry for forgetting not publishing episodes in awhile some things came up that put me behind, Life Happens. Hopefully I will be better at publishing episodes. This one we deal with the DC animated movie Justice League Crisis on Two Earths which was an animated movie written by the late great Dwayne McDuffie it a straight to video movie. Then the Oldie talks about one of the MTG Cards I hate the most Cranial Plating.

We discuss the Comic Infinite Crisis by DC Comics. This is a sequel to the comic Infinite Crisis on Infinite Earths. It was written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Phil Jimenez. Then we talk about our first Land card in MTG which is Scalding Tarn.

This episode The Oldie and I continue our journey learning about Crisis in comic books universes, we discuss the comic The Valiant by Jeff Lemire and Matt Kindt, with illustrations by Paolo Rivera and the MTG card Psionic Blast .

The first episode of Oldie and The Nerd season 2, we have a new opening song made by the Oldie himself and the ending is Level 9 by Monplaisir. Season 2 we are talking about Crisis's in comics. The first comic we talk about that deals with a Crisis is the The Infinity Gauntlet written by Jim Starlin and pencilled by George Perez and Ron Lim. This comic was the basis for Infinity War and Endgame movies its also has the famous snap. We also talk about the MTG card Mental Misstep

This Podcast the Oldie and I talk about the comic imprint Dark Horse Comics which was founded in 1986 by Mike Richardson. Some of their major comics are Sin City by Frank Miller and Hellboy by Mike Mignola  both which have been made into major motion pictures. They also own the rights to publish Avatar: The Last Airbender, Aliens, Mass Effects, Conan and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They were also one of the first american imprint to publish Manga in the states their two major ones were Oh My Goddess and Berserk. Then the Oldie gives the run down on the card Abrupt Decay 

On this podcast the Oldie and I discuss Dynamite Entertainment founded in 2005 there most famous comic is The Boys by Garth Ennis which is now a TV series on Amazon Prime, but that is for a different podcast. Just recently one of their characters Bloodshot made it to the theaters played by Vin Diesel. The Oldie than tells us about the MTG Card Cryptic Command 

On this Podcast the Oldie and I talk about the comic publisher Aftershock Comics. Created in 2015 with the idea of giving the comic authors and artists full control of their creations, just like Image Comics. The Comics we discuss are Lost City Explorers by Zack Kaplan (Eclipse, Port of Earth) and Alvaro Sarraseca (Magnus, Turok), Unholy Grail by Cullen Bunn ( The Sixth Gun, Dark Ark) and illustrated by Mirko Colak (Red Sonja) and Rough Riders by Adam Glass (Teen Titans, Suicide Squad) and art by Pat Olliffe (Spider-Girl, Scooby Apocalypse). The Oldie tells us about the MTG card Primeval Titan. 

OniPress was created in 1997 by Bob Schreck and Joe Nozemack who wanted to tell any story in comic book form. They wanted to focus on themes like realistic drama, thriller and romance. OniPress had very few long running monthly comic they focused on just short miniseries around five and six issues long. The Graphic Novels the Oldie and I talk about are Stumptown by written by Greg Rucka with art by Matthew Southworth, The Sixth Gun by Cullen Bunn with art by Brian Hurtt and Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O'Malley. Then for the Magic Minute the Magic the Gathering card Worship. 

Image comics is the third largest comic book publisher behind Marvel and DC comics. It was founded by six of writers and artist from Marvel in the early 90's made it so that the author/creator would have full control over the work he created. Some of its big comics are Spawn, Savage Dragon, the Walking Dead, Saga, Invincible and Witchblade. Than the MTG(Magic the Gathering) card we talk about is Liliana of the Veil.

This Podcast the Oldie and I talk about the powerhouse comic publisher Marvel and two comics that focus on two of Marvel major teams, The X-Men and the Avengers. The first comic we talk about is The X-Men: Dark Phoenix Saga written by Chris Claremont with art by John Byrne it is probably one of the most important stories in the X-Men Saga. The Second we talk about is The Avengers: The Korvac Saga takes place Avengers 167 to 177 written by Jim Shooter and art by George Perez which follows the Avengers as they try to stop the villain Korvac. The MTG Card the Oldie tells us about is Karakas.

The Oldie and I continue on our comic publication tour with number four of the big comic publishers IDW. Which stands for Image and Design Works it was founded in 1999 and is  best known for its licensed comic book adaptations of movies, television shows, video games, and cartoons. Some of its example of its publication are Transformers, Godzilla  and G.I. Joe. The two comics we discuss our Transformers: Beast Wars the Omnibus and Godzilla: In Hell and the Magic the Gathering card Fog. 

The Oldie and I discuss DC Comics He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, which was a comic published by DC Comics based on characters of the famous toy line of the same name. For our magic minute the Oldie tells about the MTG card Delver of Secrets  

This Podcast the Oldie and I talk about a Imprint of DC Comics called Vertigo. DC Vertigo was where DC comics could publish and print more graphic and adult themes. The three books we talk about on the Podcast The Human Target: Second Chances writer Peter Milligan and artist Edvin Biukovic, Fables: Legends in Exiles writer Bill Willingham, and The Books of Magic writer Nail Gaiman. 

This is our 10th full length podcast Thanks for listing up until now!!! Now I know what your thinking "you guys released more podcast then that?" I explain more in the intro why the Oldie and I consider this our 10th podcast. So in this podcast we talk about the comic Crisis on Infinite Earths by Marv Wolfman and George Prez about an event that defines the DC Universe as we know it today. We also talk about the movie Justice League: War which is the first movie in the new DC Animated Universe as well as the MTG card Storm Crow. 

In this Podcast I explain to the Oldie what was the event that DC Comics dubbed the New 52 and why many comic fans hated it. We also talk about Scott Synder and Greg Capullo first major crossover in the New 52 called Batman:Night of the Owls Saga as well as discuss Detective Comics 1000 which is a tribute comic for Batman's 80th anniversary. Then the Oldie tells about the Magic the Gathering Planeswalker card Jace Beleren.
