What the hell am I doing?
If you've been at all curious about why I've been bordering on being mute online recently then this might help explain. Fair warning, this isn't a funny podcast particularly so if that's what you're here for then I'd suggest grabbing an old episode or looking elsewhere. Eden

Sentiment and Music
It's me (Eden) talking alone on this one so on that basis I suppose that's all you need to know. Enjoy. Eden

The Mass Effect Retrospective Part 1
It's a very focused (if poorly recorded) podcast this week as we finally, at long last, talk over the Mass Effect game franchise. Now I know what some are thinking. It's mostly, "I have zero interest in games, perhaps next time". Well, I'm here to say sod off to that notion. We put a bit of effort into framing the whole thing so that with any luck there's decent perspective for a non-gamer to get something out of what we discuss. Need a little more info to take a chance? Mass Effect is a three part story driven game series that launched with the promise that choices made in the first and second game would play out over the course of the series, ultimately leading to distinctly different characters and universes for different players by the time the third game arrived. The setting is sci-fi and like the best of it's genre the issues that your character faces often mirror real, human problems such as religious freedom, evolution of AI, racial tensions and many more familiar, albeit sci-fi themed, situations. We discuss the value of games that take on these sometimes complex moral issues, how it was done and whether it worked for the first two parts of the franchise this time around with a view to soon discuss Mass Effect 3 and conclude on whether the series met its goal and whether we were satisfied. Ferengi Thieves, Space Racists, Documentaries and The Ultimate Warrior
Things kick off deep in sci-fi territory this week as you join us discussing how the Ferengi got into space given their culture. The 50 minute mark, or there abouts is where you want to look if sci-fi bored you to tears but for some reason must listen to us talk. Until next time, Eden

Meandering Conversation w/Beezer, Jason and AJ
It's been a rough time recording of late, timing being a difficult one, but we're back (or 2 of us are) for more chat about all manner of things. And rest assured, we definitely cover all manner of things during this conversation. A vague plan, a terrible recording set up that includes Beezer's voice coming through my speakers and into the mic and a will to disect comedy until its pieces are limp on the floor. Have I sold this one to you? Not quite sure. Enjoy! Twitter links etc Eden @MonkeyMagicEden Jason @EnotheStrife AJ @AJheretic666 Beezer...erm...if you want Beezer on Twitter send a message, 'cause it ain't happening at this rate.

Catching up with Jason and AJ and THE FUTURE!
This week it's another guest session with AJ and Jason as we catch up with each other before starting a nice long discussion of societal evolution and what it means alongside the evolution of technology. Let us know what you think and join the conversation if you like by following on Twitter, @MonkeyMagicEden @enothestrife @ajheretic666

Jedi Rasta, muay thai dicks to the face and mis-quoting Vega
Time for another impromtu recording full of wandering conversation and tales from our lives. At about the 20 minute mark we start talking about Big Narstie. I'm not even going to try to describe what he does so check it out instead - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xo3FiUn5hNo

Modus Operandi and Misathropy
It's a slightly different setup this week as we're down a Beezer. Recording this unexpectedly at 4:30am during the week is the reason he's not around but we make the most of the chance to record. It's comedy talk, discussion of plans for the near future, tales from the past, formative moments, views on gender relations and more terrible tales from the past. Let me and Jonathan know what you think by messaging us @MonkeyMagicEden and @jontym4c respectively

Danny Dyer's Dark Room
This week it's a follow on from our previous recording with a brief mention of EDL dickery quickly followed up with some talk of imaginary Danny Dyer films, hypothetical situations involving dark rooms and old men and finally a little computer game talk. Enjoy. Or don't.

My personal hell is an ouroboros of ball kicking
How the hell did we manage to discuss recent world events, quantum theory, wrestling and Star Trek without ending up utterly confused and rambly? As is ever the case, I'm not going to tell you here in text, click to listen or download and find out you big silly.

The All New No Podcast Podcast - I am Dickhead
What happens when Eden fucks up a setting on the call recording software? You get a podcast with one side of a three person conversation. Not so good. What happens then Eden, Joanathan and Beezer have to contrive a fresh conversation in order to make a podcast happen this week? Listen to hear the surprisingly amusing result.

The Great and Glorious Leader Insists You Listen To The Words of the True Prophets
Welcome back to the Old Enough To Know Better Podcast. Or welcome if you're new. Or fuck off if you're not listening...hang on, that doesn't really work...can I demand those people fuck IN and listen? Does that work at all? I'm rambling now so onwards! This week we're discussing Bioshock Infinite (NO SPOILERS!) for the first 10 minutes and then it's into North Koerean territory as we discuss what they've been doing, what we know, what we don't know and what could happen. After that it's some work and smoking talk before we head into the sunset. Find me on Twitter @MonkeyMagicEden and Jonathan @JontyM4C and let us know what you think.

Sliding into Utopia
This week we start off by discussing long dead TV sci-fi series Sliders for five minutes before attempting to describe a recent conspiracy driven show from the UK called Utopia. Spoilers kick in when we stop and say they do so take a listen and see if we can't pique some interest.

If this were a game the last 25 minutes would probably be DLC
We're back! After a battle with an edit that almost drove me (Eden) to the point of banging myhead against the wall, the Old Enough To Know Better podcast returns with a games focuses episode. Don't worry non-gamers, if it's all a muddy mess to you then hopefully we've discussed it all with the depth needed for you to follow and perhaps learn what's up with this rapidly shifting industry. We kick off with a little talk on UK politics (very little I promise those of you immediately turned off by that idea) and quickly move on to the recent Sim City and discuss EA and Activision's roles in making the current mainstream of games a generic mess. We cover what makes a good DLC and how a majority don't make good DLC, multiplayer pay to win tactics, the role of the consumer in shaping the behaviour of companies and finally where hope lies for those not wanting to play Call of Duty till we die lies. As ever, feedback and thoughts are welcome so fire off at me on Twitter @MonkeyMagicEden or have a word with Jonathan @JontyM4C

Ghosts, aliens and skepticism
We're back for week 2 of podcasting on Libsyn and this week we've got a show focused on our experiences with the parnormal, the unexplained, the...um...mostly faked and false...yeah, we're not all that sold on the evidence used to back up claims of the paranormal and unexplained but we give it a chance and Beezer tells us about his personal experience. Follow me (Eden) on Twitter @MonkeyMagicEden and Jonathan @jontym4c and let us know what you think of the show.

Goodbye Podbean, Hello Libsyn part 2
It's time for part 2 of this inaugural Libsyn podcast and the unrelenting geekery continues. Why don't we like Star Wars all that much? Why is Picard the better captain? Who the hell would play Bishop in an X-men movie? These questions are kind of answered here for you. Listen up and share it if you like it!

Goodbye Podbean, hello Libsyn.
Jumping ship for greener pastures, mixing metaphor like a mad linguist, the Old Enough To Know Better Podcast has landed. For any new listeners who've not been following us, we're a bunch of fairly geeky guys who've taken to podcasting for a hobby. I, Eden, am the guy with the drive to get this organized (sort of) and online week after week. Joining me are long time friends Jonathan and Beezer (yes, that's his real name). No topic is off the table, no opinion is too strange to be uttered. We're grown men talking about our lives, media and existence in general. We are Old Enough To Know Better.
