Our old friend Stevland returns to the show to share with us his very spooky superstitions (black cats, broken mirrors, etc), as Andrew and Dan revisit a year they can't seem to leave behind, 1973. Eagle eared listeners might be able to tell this episode was recorded a few days early, specifically during the part where Andrew and Dan make asses of themselves talking about the Oscar noms like they haven't already been released. 

Firmly back in the "and his orchestra" era, Andrew and Dan go DEEP on this song from the early days of the charts that incontrovertibly IS a song. You legally can't say that it isn't. They also learn a bit about the legendary Artie Shaw, who by his own account was a Grade-A psycho. It's a classic ep!

Once again, the wickedly talented Adele (Dazeem) returns to the show with a big ol' stankin hit that absolutely destroyed the charts and forced Billboard to rebuild from nothing. Unfortunately, to hear this song Andrew and Dan must travel to a famously very bad year that actually was the reason for all the bad things have ever happened on earth. We're talking movie plots. We're talking plucky little bass lines. And you know we're talking about that weird conman Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks).

This week, Andrew and Dan take a look back at Shai's smooth musical ode to planning your next relationship while you're still kind of in your first one. It's romantic! Kind of!

We're talking day-glo fashion, terrible dancing, and musical influences from the Eisenhower era. It's it's time time to to go go.

Gosh, can you even remember as far back as the year 2019? Things sure were different back then. All of our pop stars were Scottish. And named Lewis. Well, maybe that was just this week. Anyway, Andrew and Dan are using all their brain power this week to remember the brief time three years ago when Dr. Who's distant cousin yelled at all of us about how he's no longer dating some lady. Sounds pretty 2019!

Andrew and Dan are reunited this week for a very special and quintessentially weird episode that (you'll never believe it) isn't about a number one song. Instead, they take a little trip down the charts to talk about a Bee Gees hit that was pretty popular but definitely wouldn't make it into your top ten of best Bee Gees hits. Still, it's a song that will get you feeling some kind of way...if you know what we mean...(sex).

Following a brief and completely fake retirement, former Brooklyn Nets minority stake owner Jay-Z finally completely his blueprints. And it only took three drafts! Amidst a collection of weird singles, was this moderate banger featuring two (much more talented?) artists. What a time to be alive!

With a nation reeling from a historic tragedy and a people looking for comfort a little further down the charts, only one R&B group from Atlanta, Georgia could be counted on to ask the hard questions. This week, Andrew and Dan finally get to the bottom of where this dang party is at.
