When Men Say No To Sex
It's becoming more common for men to say no to sex. The stigma that men are always DTF (down to f*ck) and want sex 24/7 can compound already difficult issues. Women are feeling unwanted, undesired, and self conscious. Men feel inadequate, ashamed, and embarassed. We asked our audience what was the main reason for them/their husband saying no and were very surprised by the lack of diversity in answers. All the responses fell into about 5 categories and we discuss them here! Men's reasons for saying no to sex are almost NEVER have to do with their partners. They aren't saying no because they don't find their wife/partner sexy or desireable. They are actually stressed, depressed, and anxious. Dealing with performance anxiety or ED and even taking a medication that is affecting drive. Enjoy our take on this topic and listen for the actual fight we're having accidentally pop up mid convo. Being the Son of a Teen Mom - Special Guest: Noah Buckley
Nothing says "full circle" like the baby you had in high school growing up to make fun of you for having a baby in high school. Sara got pregnant at 17 in her junior year of high school. After turning 18, Sara and Sterling (who was 21) got married and two weeks later Noah was born. Sara finished high school while being a stay at home mom and new wife! We quickly learned that Noah was my clone in almost every way. That has only proven more and more true as he gets older and comes into his own. I wasn't officially diagnosed with ADD until age 27 and as a kid always felt my parents didn't quite "get" me. I actually felt that way my entire life until Noah. We just get each other. We joke, think, love, and shit talk Sterling the same. In this episode, I interview my smart ass little twin with questions submitted by you guys plus a few of my own. Things quickly spiral into our accent impressions and inside jokes, so don't be alarmed if you don't follow along, hahahaha. OFFERSIn need of hand sanitizer? Modesty + Body Shaming
Why is it that men are never described as being immodest? Or are they and we've never heard of it? In this episode, we talk about what it means to be modest (to us) and the nonesense that is body shaming. This has been a constant issue in Sara's since puberty and she only recently stopped giving a fuck about it. Sterling loves to call men out on their bullshit about "if you don't want me to look, cover up". Making a triumphant return is the beloved segment: Urban Dictionary. We recently learned that "hot wife" and "hotwife" are NOT THE SAME THING AT ALL OMG. Appreciation Station
This last week of quarantine probably has some married couples spending more time together than they have in awhile. Things may be getting a litte tense. Things may be getting a little stressful. In case your spouse is annoying the fuck out of you (or maybe you're purposefully annoying them), remind them how great you are and why they married you. In this episode, we remind each other of the ways we could appreciate the other more. Some examples, Sterling should appreciate how Sara has planned every birthday and Christmas for the last 15 years and Sara needs to remember that Sterling basically runs to the store whenever she doesn't feel like it.OFFERSGet 10% off your first month at betterhelp.com/nottheworstSupport the show

Financial Advice: Wrong Answers Only
Talking about money is not only important when you're married, apparently it's pivotal to financial success. Well, we never did that and are terrible with money. We have zero real advice so this episode is entirely focused on only wrong answers when it comes to dealing with money. We get asked A LOT about doing a finances episode....so HERE YOU GO. Getting married young with no knowledge on how to budget, save, build credit, etc. has led to a lot of fights and overdraft fees.Definitely take all of these sarcastic suggestions seriously if you'd like fuck yourself financially for years.OFFERSGet 10% off your first month at betterhelp.com/nottheworstSupport the show

Unsolicited Parenting Opinions
Opinions are like assholes. Everybody's got one. We looked up some of the most controversial parenting topics and weigh in.No one thinks they have it all figured out quite like a new parent. At least, that was our opinion as young parents. We thought the way we were doing things was the best and only way. Thankfully, we grew up and realized no one knows what the fuck they're doing.Topics incude: child leashes, extended breastfeeding, ear piercing, kissing your kids on the lips and more!OFFERSGo to HelloFresh.com/nottheworst10 and use code nottheworst10 during HelloFresh’s New Year’s sale for 10 free meals PLUS free shipping.Support the show

Premarital Conversations
Having certain conversations before getting married, or early on in your relationship can prevent A LOT of future fights. We had some pretty pivotal ones that helped us a lot in the early years of trying to figure marriage and parenting out. Some were serious and others lighthearted, but in this episode Sterling learns that Sara will probably take him off life support a lot sooner than he'd take her off.OFFERSGet 10% off your first month at betterhelp.com/nottheworstFor 50% off your first Care/of order, go to TakeCareOf.com and enter code nottheworst50Support the show

Space + Boundaries
Everyone has personal space and boundaries and understanding the difference is important. In regards to this episode, "space" is physical or emotional distance needed for a certain amount of time to fulfill an internal emotional need. It's something that varies based on external circumstances and doesn't happen all the time. A boundary is something that never changes. It's a hard line in the sand that never varies based on emotional needs or external events. It's important to understand what our own needs for space and boundaries are so we can clearly communicate them to our significant other. Otherwise, you can get caught up in a viscous cycle of your spouse constantly crossing a line they didn't know existed, which is unfair for both of you! In this episode, we discuss our own personal needs for space and boundaries, how they affect each other, and why it's so important to respect them. Body Image
Body positivity when it comes to marriage and parenting is vital. We love how appreciating all bodies has become the new norm. We’ve both struggled with insecurity about our bodies, and while Sterling got to the “I don’t give a fuck” phase faster than Sara, we’ve finally learned to love ourselves as is. In this episode, we talk about the different ways having negative body image can impact your relationship, sex life, and kids. Moms definitely have a harder time in this area because of the toll pregnancy and nursing takes but that doesn’t mean men don’t struggle too! OFFERSGo to HelloFresh.com/nottheworst10 and use code nottheworst10 during HelloFresh’s New Year’s sale for 10 free meals PLUS free shipping.Get 10% off your first month at betterhelp.com/nottheworstSupport the show
