What a weekend, one of the greatest games in living memory (of course we are referring to the fish tossing....) and the Hawks beating the Pack and the Patriots dumping on Indy. It's Tom vs Russy in the big one people - lets all salute!

So there we have it, that's another season in the books. Many congrats to the Seattle Seahawks as we are sure you all know by now trounced the Broncos on Sunday Night. In the last NLD40 of the season we recap the game, not just the action itself but of course the Super Bowl Ads that we liked and didn't and give you the verdict on the halftime show. Thanks to everyone that came to our Superbowl Party - you made it a really special night and capped off an amazing season.

It's Superbowl week so we decided to treat you to something a little bit special. Not only did we drop our NFL Jams mix this week we decided to bring on two very special guests from the world of Hip Hop to help us preview the big game. Coming off the back of a Grammy nominated 2013 where he made beats for Drake, Chance the Rapper, J Cole, Pusha T (errr basically all of our favourite rappers..), we speak to life long Seahawks fan and super producer Jake One about his love for the Hawks, why we should route for them and the unique place this team has taken within a city that's desperate for a major sports win. We also invite back onto NLD40, Rob Pursey - London's greatest DJ who tells us what he'll be playing at our Super Bowl Party, his take on the winners and losers at the Grammys and what music we need to be picking up throughout 2014'. It's SUPERBOWL time and we now know who's going to be there - The Broncos will play the Seahawks and in a special NLDN40 recorded straight after the games we talk about all the hows, whys and whats of the action we'd just seen and then look forward to what should be an epic match up in two weeks time which you have to come and watch with us at our Super Bowl Party, of course you do....

It was Wildcard Weekend and it's safe to say it was one that will go down in History. The Colts 28 point comeback against the Chiefs was the game of the season so far and one that Chiefs fans will want to forget in a hurry. To ease the pain we invited one of the key Chiefs from their last side to win a playoff game onto the pod, JJ Birden to talk about the game and the similarities between himself and TY Hylton and what it takes to compete in the NFL as a lil' guy. We round up all the other Wild Card reflection as well and look forward to what should be an epic Division Weekend, starting 2014 off right!

We bring you the 31st and last NLDN40 of the 2013 and what a couple of day's it's been. We bring you all the lowlights from Black...err sorry African American Monday in the NFL where we said goodbye to some of our least favourite coaches. We also wrap up all the playoffs spots and talk about the matches we can expect to see all next weekend. To mark the end of Channel 4's extremely successful return to live coverage of the NFL we welcome on one of our favourite guys in the biz and presenter on the C4 show Nat Coombs to reflect on the show this season and to talk about the channel's upcoming Super Bowl coverage schedule. Wishing all you lot a happy Festivus and whilst we don't spend the whole of this pod airing our grievances we do spend 45 minutes or so talking about week 16 and how complicated the playoff picture looks right now. A bit of a different NLDN40 this week as we saw Jameis Winston this weekend be crowned the new Heisman trophy winner and the new name to watch out for in College Football. We invite onto the pod one of our favourite College Football writers, Michael Weinreb from Sportsonearth.com to talk all things Jameis as well as running through some of the upcoming bowl game match ups and who to look out next season in the 2014 NFL draft. We stay on the college tip and talk about some Youngstown Boys, the incredible new ESPN documentary about Ohio State with our resident Ohio Native and great mate Joe Cohen who also delivers his damning verdict at the end of another miserable season of Cleveland Browns fandom. Snow, snow and more snow was upon us in week 14 and it helped make for what will go down in history as THE HOUR which occurred between around 8:45 and 9:45pm on Sunday night. If you didn't see it we'll help you relive it all, well as best as we possibly can, well some of us will, Inie wasn't that impressed with the snow as you'll be able to tell with his mini rant to open the pod. We saw records tumble, 88 TD's and the last 2 minutes of a game that will never be equalled. This was too much for two people so we invited back our boy Jamie Cutteridge from Any Given Sunday Night for this one..

As we reach our 50th edition of NLD40 we give thanks to the world and all the U.N.I.T.Y that exists within it. We talk about a crazy week 13, an unbelievable end to the Iron Bowl and which NFL players we would adopt if we got the opportunity..

We say this all the time, well most of the time, but #BANANAS week in the NFL that was. We go in hard at length on what had to be the game of the season as Tom Brady's Pat's came back to win an improbable one against Peyton's Broncos in Sunday's late games. We cover all the games that mattered this week and talk about why we do respect the Saints even if Twitter doesn't think we do, Mark Sanchez's cornrows and the party that's taking place at 5-6 in the AFC. We breakdown the playoff picture and preview what should be another great Thanksgiving. We give thanks to you all pod listeners.

We get off our sick beds this week to deliver all that was good, good GOOD about week 11 in the NFL. The most anticipated match up of the season was perhaps usurped by the NFL's longest and muddiest game in memory. We talk winners, losers and well everything in between...It's the NFL - you have to love it...

We're all over the place this week as we not only come to you a day later but thanks to the Bucs and our own Jags we find ourselves starting from the bottom and celebrating the fact that every team in the NFL now has a win this season. We make the most of the opportunity to talk some MNF as well as all the other week 10 stuff that went down this Sunday including the Tavon Show, The Panthers continuing to look good and the week's Matt Flynn update. We're also continue to celebrate our golden age of Sports documentaries and talk about some of the gold we've induced over the past couple of weeks.
