Congresswoman Debra Haaland- Native Heritage Month Finale
Hey! It's Native Heritage month and like any other people out there I scouted for the best guest possible to make it special. Today this special episode features Congresswoman Debra Haaland. She is from New Mexico and is an enrolled member of the Pueblo of Laguna. We talk about some of her policy, Covid, the secretary of the interior rumors, some of her personal history and finally how we can get NomadCast into the White House. They need "something else" in there am I right? I was extremely nervous and you can hear it a bit but I think I did alright. Unfortunately due to the extremely short amount of time we had I had to transition through topics much quicker than I would have liked. If you enjoy the show make sure you let the Congresswoman know you'd like to hear us talk more! I hope you enjoy the show! Please share, leave a comment or review and follow me on social media! On this episode come listen to my brain clog as I get more and more involved with the conversation with my guest Ronnie James. Ronnie is a man from Iowa that is involved with the Great Plains Action Society, Des Moines Mutual Aid and BLM movements in a big way! Through our conversation I begin to realize how little I understand of a lot of what he is talking about and I really appreciate that. Ronnie has humbled and taught me in a way that a lot of other guests just simply couldn't. To support the stuff Ronnie is involved with please follow these links! Meagan Byrne- Achimostawinan Games
Apologies! The first episode has a slight echo when we are both talking. I'm working with a sound engineer friend to work out the kinks. It's still very listenable and good though! After a long break from the last episode in January I am finally back. This time I'm talking with Meagan Byrne the creator of Achimostawinan Games. Meagan and her company are creating a new game called HILL AGENCY: PURITY/decay and it sounds incredible. It is an indigenous cyber noir detective game set in a distant future in a thriving indigenous metropolis.
