Nivix Laboratories Episode 176: The Importance of Shuffling
Shuffling is a topic that is often overlooked. It is one of the most integral parts of the game. Not only does it prevent stacking/cheating, but it improves gameplay. Shuffling increases the number of keepable hands and reduces mulligans. Sufficient randomness should always be an objective.

Nivix Laboratories Episode 15: Metagame Talk and What Tournament Results Actually Mean
The Metagame. What does that mean? What do those tournament results actually indicate? Well, it isn't just about what is the best. It indicates match-ups, tournament size, who is playing in that tournament, confidence, fear, experience and etc. Top Eight results can reflect a combination of different things. Follow along as I feebly attempt to separate these ideas and their impact on tournament results.

Nivix Laboratories Episode 14: The Problems with Traditional Modern Jund
Traditional Modern Jund has been falling out of favor in the current metagame. I will cover the two big problems with modern Jund. The first being the lack of maximizing the biggest threat in the deck: Tarmogoyf. The second problem is the lack of another big threat. Nivix Laboratories Episode 13: Magic Stereotypes are Bad for Magic
This is an impromptu episode. After experiencing a high volume of Magic stereotypes, I felt the need to talk about this self-perpetuating stereotypes of Magic players. For one, it is simply false. Magic players are like everybody else. Two, it hurts the game and disenfranchises other segments of the Magic community. Also, Magic players hurt themselves with self-fulfilling prophecies and self-deprecation. We as Magic players need to stop with the use of "Us Magic players are X".

Nivix Laboratories Episode 9: Playing Devil's Advocate with the Reserved List
I play devil's advocate with the reserved list. The idea comes from that we most often hear about the player perspective. In this installment, I wanted to try and look at it from WotC's perspective. As stated in the podcast, I do no represent WotC or have any affiliation. I just wanted to put the shoe on the other foot for a change.

Nivix Laboratories Episode 8: Legacy Sultai Reanimator - Breaking Worldly Tutor
Reanimator Decks have always been powerful in Legacy. However, I don't love the inconsistency of the current BR builds. I'm brining back part of an old list of BU by adding Green for Worldly Tutor. What? Using Show and Tell to dump Emrakul, the Aeons Torn into play. Sign me up.
