George was elected 67th Governor of Virginia in 1993, and had the distinction of holding Thomas Jefferson’s seat in the Virginia House of Delegates from 1983 to 1991. 08/5/22: Troy Coons is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Northwest Landowners Association, and Derrick Braaten is the owner of Braaten Law Firm in Bismarck, ND. They both join Joel Heitkamp to discuss a recent oil-related lawsuit.  The North Dakota Supreme Court has ruled in favor of landowners in a dispute over the oil and gas industry's use of underground rock cavities. The unanimous ruling upheld critical parts of a lower court's decision to strike down a state law that prevented some landowners from receiving compensation for the use of underground cavities on their property.
