Episode 3 - Family Cruising Fact vs Fiction
It’s a debate that’s been around for decades.  A topic that not only has the country divided, but many families and friends.  Of course I’m talking about cruise ships.  There’s such a rift between the “pro-cruisers” and “anti-cruisers”, that when the two sides happen to meet, the tension can be cut with a butter knife.  Yes, I’m being melodramatic.  Look, the truth is cruising is not for everyone, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t break down some of the common misnomers about cruising, and highlight some of the truths..  Hopefully this blog will cross the isle and challenge the issues that the “anti-cruise” peeps say keep them from taking a vacation on the open sea. Episode 1 - Introduction to My Family Guide and the MFG Membership Card
Check out our Podcasts for great interviews with ‘Celebrities’, Local Business Owners, New Discounts and more! My Family Guide is a blog and geo location directory to find kid friendly restaurants, lodging, entertainment and shopping. It is also a marketing tool for local businesses to advertise their kid friendly business to the general public.  We also introduced the MFG Membership.  The annual MFG Membership card will be way for our readers to receive exclusive discounts at their favorite kid-friendly businesses around the country.  Some examples include discounts at coffee shops, restaurants, indoor play centers, photographers,  hotels, cruise lines, rental cars, and more!  If you are interested in joining the MFG Membership, please sign-up here. As most parents know, not all businesses have families in mind. My Family Guide helps to define the term “family friendly”. MFG requires each business to fill out a questionnaire that is used to generate our "advance search" engine. So, each family can pick what amenities are important to them when searching restaurants, lodging, entertainment and shopping. https://myfamilyguide.com/podcasts/
