Privacy is a privilege
Today while out shopping I had to give one of the people that support me my pin code for my banking. While I know for a fact they wouldn’t do anything with it and they’ve probably forgotten it now, I still don’t have as much privacy as an able-bodied person would and that needs to change. People with disabilities deserve as much privacy as everyone else and we as a society need to make that happen.

My diagnosis story| how I received a diagnosis of a developmental disability at age 21| why the diagnosis process needs to change to include those with visual impairments
Here is my diagnosis story. It is probably close to many other blind peoples stories who have received a  diagnosis of a developmental disability as well. Because of a character limit I’m not able to post the links to the episodes I talked about. I’m going to look more into that and will try to figure out a way to do this.
