Today while out shopping I had to give one of the people that support me my pin code for my banking. While I know for a fact they wouldn’t do anything with it and they’ve probably forgotten it now, I still don’t have as much privacy as an able-bodied person would and that needs to change. People with disabilities deserve as much privacy as everyone else and we as a society need to make that happen.

Don’t be afraid to advocate to get what you need

If you have been wondering who I am, this is who I am!

Here is my diagnosis story. It is probably close to many other blind peoples stories who have received a  diagnosis of a developmental disability as well. Because of a character limit I’m not able to post the links to the episodes I talked about. I’m going to look more into that and will try to figure out a way to do this.

I know the episode is a mess but heres my personal story on how I decided to employ my own support staff, or go with an organization. My decision is my decision, and your decision should be your decision.
