African Americans are twice as likely to develop Alzheimer's or one of the other dementias, but only half as likely to get a proper diagnosis and access support resources. Caring for a family member with Alzheimer's can have a significant impact on a family. It is an incredibly challenging journey and without support resources it can be devastating. Kwasi Thornell stopped by the Full Circle studio to share critical information with the African American community to make sure families are know they are supported and can connect to vital to services.
