Erie Optimist Club Bradley Beck
Bradley Beck Vice President of the Erie Optimist Club, join Rachel to talk about the amazing things the Optimist club does in Erie and impartially the Easter Egg Hunt coming up on March 25th, 2018. Bradley moved to Erie 18 years ago and adores his purple Victorian house in Erie Village and his quick commute to Boulder for work. In the 1970's when he was in High School in California, Bradley was given an award from the Optimist club, this sparked his love of service organizations and joined the Erie chapter more than 15 years ago.The club puts on numerous events in Erie every year and gives back thousands to our local youth. Ran completely by volunteers and local Erie residents. Tune in to the episode to learn about the Easter Egg Hunt featuring 1000's of eggs for kids of all ages! In this episode The Man Bradley has a passion for youth and giving back so much to Erie. The Past Started the last century and ran just by men, the optimist club is a staple in communities all over the country, now a mix of men and woman for all types of backgrounds. The Erie chapter started more than 20 years ago. The Future The Erie Optimist club will continue to put on spectacular events year after year and support the youth in Erie.

Erie Mayorial Candidate Jennifer Carroll joins Rachel to talk about her candidacy for the 2018-2020 Mayor position. Jennifer has served as a Trustee for the past 4 years and her passion for the town has inspired her to continue to serve. Originally from Ohio, she now lives in the Sun West North neighborhood and fell in love with it as soon as she toured one of the models a few years ago. During her time as Trustee, she worked her day job as an engineer, planned a wedding, got married and had a baby boy. She is positive she will make the time to be mayor and serve our town with pride. Jennifer's motto is Vote Collaboration, Vote Transparency, Vote poise, Vote Jennifer Carroll for Mayor. In this episode The Woman Jennifer believes that Engineers make great Mayors. She is a wife, a mom and highly educated. Her parents and siblings are all teachers, so she comes to office with the heart of a teacher. The Reason 4 years as a Trustee inspired her to continue to serve. She made many changes during the past 4 years such as proper smoke alarms for our senior housing, leaf composting day, founded the Erie Sustainability committee and much more. The Plans Jennifer plans to be transparent, promote responsible growth and preserve the beauty of the open space in Erie.
