Episode 1 – My first Interview Ever!
Read on for the show notes on my first podcast and my first interview ever. The aim of the podcast is to introduce people to their neighborhood. When we buy a home, we also inherit the town, businesses, and people around us. Me personally, I always feel more at home when I know my neighbors. I prefer to do business with people I know and trust. I will have recurring segments, but as this is the first podcast, the only real segment will be an interview with an awesome local business owner.
The entrepreneur is Edwin Correa. He started a photography business from scratch. The amount of work, I can only imagine. The fact that he has employees after just a short time? The focus of this business is little league photo shoots. So stuff like team picture, individual pictures, and even that has expanded to include rally towels, and other accessories for parents and friends to show team spirit or support their kids. Future episodes will contain segments like, real estate pitfalls, ask me anything real estate, Hometown Hero of the week, and Worthwhile Philanthropy. I promise to experiment with additional different segments. I like the idea of not being tied down to a hard format. Being able to talk about anything is kind of exciting.
