011 Going Bananas (1987)
Recorded late one night in the summer of 2016, here is the fabled "Lost Episode" of Monkey Club. Until now, it has existed only in segments scattered about the hard drive of a mostly dead early-00s Gateway computer. Through an exhaustive process, it has finally been recovered and painstakingly restored. Join Chris Podcasts (then just starting out with Now and Again), Cara O'Regan (who would go on to co-host Wistful Thinking and be an all-around regular on the CageClub Podcast Network), and Christian Larson (some guy) as they discuss a movie so horrifyingly terrible it melted down a laptop: 1987's Going Bananas.

The CageClub Podcast Network Celebrates its 1000th Episode!
In August 2015, we released our very first podcast and proceeded to tear through Nicolas Cage’s filmography at a breakneck pace. We had no idea that we'd continue after we finished Cage’s filmography, but we asked, “What’s next?” and went from there. After nearly four years, we are releasing our 1,000th episode. In this episode, Joey Lewandowski talked many of your favorite CageClub Podcast Network hosts: Mike Manzi of Third Time’s A Charm, Joe Two of 2 Fast 2 Forever, Chris Podcasts of Now and Again, Brian Rodriguez of High School Slumber Party, Kyle Reinfried of Foodie Films, Jordan Polan-Clarke and Cara Gael O’Regan of Wistful Thinking, Aislinn Addington of The Contenders, Lindsay Gibb of Winona Forever, Jonah Rubino of X is for Podcast, and Nico Vasilo and Kevo Risse of .html. Thank you for listening. Share your favorite episode or memory with us by emailing mailbag@cageclub.me!

010 Project X (1987)
Chris and Chris are joined by Dr. Dan Salerno to discuss the most pointless military program ever conceived, what made 80s movies so wonderful, and the absolute cutest little creature in film history (and no, we're not talking about a young Matthew Broderick). Laughs are had, parallels to 1995's Born to be Wild are made, and the most enthusiastic round of "Monkey Business" in Monkey Club history is played. Check it out!

009 Funky Monkey (2004)
The Monkey Club boys are back from their summer sabbatical in Central Africa with one of their most anticipated episodes yet - a look at 2004's Funky Monkey, starring Stranger Things and Cutthroat Island's Matthew Modine! Chris, Chris, and special guest Steve Payson delve into the insanity of this surprisingly star-studded film, as well as the strange world of wedgie fetishism. Join them, won't you?

008 Congo (1995)
Who would have thought that a mid-90s action film based on a Michael Crichton book and featuring killer apes, laser guns, and Tim Curry would be so terrible? Join Chris, Chris, and special guest Vashawn Vanish as they embark on a long, painful slog through the Congo with a little help from Ernie Hudson and That Dude from Nip/Tuck!

007 Planet of the Apes (1968)
Monkey Club continues its brief streak actually decent movies with a discussion of 1968's Planet of the Apes! This week Chris and Chris are joined by Cage Club and Keanu Club co-host Mike Manzi for an in-depth discussion of the sci-fi classic, and how it expertly handles issues like racism, religion, animal cruelty, and Charlton Heston's glorious bare buttocks.

006 Gorillas in the Mist (1988)
After catastrophic technical issues and the loss of their special guest, the Monkey Club regroups for this uncharacteristically thoughtful discussion of the story of gorilla conservationist Dian Fossey. Was Fossey a sinner or a saint? How much can we really affect foreign cultures with our more "enlightened" western ways? What would Sigourney Weaver look like dressed as Ben Franklin? Chris and Chris attempt to answer all these questions - and more! - on the latest episode of the Monkey Club.
45 minutes | May 27, 2016
005 Shakma (1990)
A bloodthirsty baboon goes on a killing spree in the most bland office building in the world. Can a group of thoroughly unlikable LARPing medical students stop him? Chris and Chris will get to the bottom of it, with the help of special guest Lee Chernowitz. Simian carnage has never been so adorable!
45 minutes | May 13, 2016
004 Born to Be Wild (1995)
Get your motor runnin', cause it's time to head out on the highway with Chris, Chris, and special guest Heather Coombs on a journey through 1995's Born to Be Wild! Join the gang as they revisit this mostly forgotten classic from the golden age of monkey movies starring mostly forgotten 90s heartthrob Wil Horneff.
45 minutes | Apr 29, 2016
003 Bedtime for Bonzo (1951)
This week, Chris and Chris (with special guest Rob Arrechi) take a look at one of the most notorious incidents of Ronald Reagan's career – no, not the Iran Contra affair, 1951's Bedtime for Bonzo. The most memorable film from Ronnie's B-movie days, Bonzo finds the future President playing a psychology professor who must settle the nature vs. nurture argument once and for all by rearing an adorable chimp.

002 Ed (1996)
Monkey Club heads to the ballpark this week for 1996's Ed, a film which somehow failed to launch Friends' Matt LeBlanc into big screen superstardom. Chris, Chris, and a mysterious guest known only as "V" learn that there’s nothing in the rulebook that says a monkey can't play baseball – or haunt your dreams with dark, Lynchian visions.
68 minutes | Apr 1, 2016
001 King Kong (1933)
To kick off Monkey Club with Chris and Chris, the gang teams up with special guest Joey Lewandowski to tackle the original monkey movie, 1933’s King Kong. Join them on an adventure to Skull Island where they’ll discover pioneering special effects, horrifying 30s racism, and one of the most unlikable leading men in film history!
