This Memorial Day weekend we're excited to welcome back guest speaker, Scott Ridout! In today's message, Scott is helping us evaluate our spiritual health so that we can stay healthy in an unhealthy world. We'll talk about three arenas that we control where we must make wise choices to stay healthy, and ask three questions to help us monitor that health.

This weekend Craig wrapped up our current message series. So far, we've covered the Trinity, the separation of sin, and the gift of Jesus as a way back to relationship with God, and how the gospel is personal. This weekend, we learned how we can trust that the Bible is reliable.

As moms, we’re surrounded by messages like “You’ve got this” and “You can do it all if you just [fill in the blank].” For many of us, this translates into trying to be everything for everyone around us, which leaves us feeling defeated and flat out exhausted. But what if motherhood wasn’t designed for that? What if you can’t do it all, and that’s actually the point? In this special Mother’s Day service we’ll learn it is in the surrender of our weaknesses that we can experience the joy and freedom that God provides.

So far, we've covered the Trinity, the separation of sin, and the gift of Jesus as a way back to relationship with God. This week, things get personal. Craig shares that God doesn’t just love the world, generically, He loves each of us individually. The Gospel is personal and it's a difference of believing facts and believing in, or having faith, in Jesus.

Over the last two weeks, we have talked about the Trinity and how devastating our sin is to God. This weekend, we are excited to share the Good News that God makes a way for us! We have to get both our heads and our hearts right for God, and we need to turn toward Jesus to leave our sins behind.

God hates sin because He loves us! When you sin, it creates a barrier between you and God. Not only that, but the message from sinning is that God is dead to you. When you turn from sin, God is faithful and welcomes us back to restore the relationship. Is sin keeping you from experiencing grace?

Christianity is simple, but it can be easy to forget that in the face of a bewildering variety of doctrines, denominations, and differences. All doctrines matter, but some matter more than others…and only a few matter most. 

Between the peace of the Garden of Eden and the promise of the Garden of the Redeemed, we live with the pain of our separation from God. And yet, even here, in the midst of your disappointments, your hurts and your sorrows, the resurrection of Jesus can give you abundant life between the gardens.

God doesn't need perfect people, but what happens when we have elements in our lives that go unchecked? When everyone but you knows it's a problem? It's easy to see something, become enamored with it and let it lead us to sinning. Thankfully, as we see in today's message, Jesus' power is at it's greatest when we acknowledge that WE are too weak to handle the mess we've gotten into.

Trusting in the wrong thing is a recipe for trouble. As we continue through the story of Samson in Judges 16, today we're talking about making sure your trust is in the right place.

From the playground to the office, we all struggle when life doesn't feel fair. What should we do when it seems like our rights have been violated? Craig leads us through a powerful story from the life of Samson that helps us see God’s surprising (and very counter-cultural!) response to this age-old question.

Last week, as we kicked off The Illusion of Strength series on the life of Samson, we saw that the source of our strength is our connection to God. In Judges chapter 14, we're going to see five common mistakes we all tend to make that waste the strength God gives us and, ultimately, cut us off from our source of strength.

A great marriage not only gives life to each person, but has the power to impact families, neighborhoods, churches, and communities. This weekend, Craig kicked off this two-week series to see why marriage matters and how to build a marriage you’ll love.

All of us worry, and all of us would rather be free of those worries. When we worry about our future, it keeps us from experiencing the blessings that God has for us in the present. Examining what we are worrying about can show us what we have prioritized above our trust in God to care for our daily needs.

God doesn't light lamps with the intent that they will remain hidden. You are to be the light of the world, empowered by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. When you see the world as Jesus intended, it affects how you treat the world and you have more to put into the world.

None of us wants to live a life preoccupied with ourselves. The message of the Gospel propels us to take the attention off of ourselves and redirects our attention from what we get out of relationships to how we serve within them.

As our thoughts move away from God, our lives also move away. Thinking as the world thinks encourages this pattern. The world has a focus on self that God never intended. Join us for this week's message with keys to gaining your freedom from the prison of self-preoccupation.
