MINDSTATE #3: Interview with Ymir
Today we have a fascinating interview with the legendary giant of lore, Ymir. I don’t do a whole lot of talking in this episode because Ymir has so much to say on so wide a variety of subjects, so I went ahead and let him. We recorded this interview in a public location and it was a lot of fun seeing the confused or startled looks from the staff and patrons as the conversation developed. In other news we’re now on Stitcher and Spotify, and we’ll continue to add our content to various retailers. We also have a Patreon you can donate to if you’re a generous entity and would like to support us in our efforts to build up the psychic infrastructure of the Mindstate Podcast!

MINDSTATE #2: Interview with Perry Mango
Today, Michael sits down with self-described Illuminati Perry Mango to discuss Psilocybin/Psilocin mushrooms, Microdosing and float tanks. This episode was great because I was able to throw out broad topics and Perry Mango would just go into these rabbit holes of science, medecine, philosophy or outright speculation. It’s clear that he’s spent a lot of time thinking about these topics and it was great to give him an opportunity to voice his thoughts and ideas.

MINDSTATE #1: Interview With Sopher
In this episode, Michael meets with his good friend Sopher (as in Philosopher), which is fitting because if he lived in ancient Greece he would be living in a barrell and ranting about the nature of life to all those who pass by. We’ve been friends for a long time and we cover a few of my favorite topics; We talk cannabis legalization in Ohio, 1000 mg dose LSD trips, his experience with Amanita Muscaria (also called Fly Agaric) and more. We get a bit nostalgiac towards the end, but doesn’t everybody when talking to old friends?A few things on the technical and quality side of things; We know that this episode is pretty rough. We lack transitions and it very abruptly cuts off to our co-host Justin’s voice near the end. There’s a good reason for that, but the fact is that we’re still getting our bearings. Rather than spend all of our time trying to polish it up and get it absolutely perfect, we’re going to press on and learn our lessons. Then, in twenty years when neo-hipsters are listening to vinyl printed podcasts, you can all marvel at the idiosyncrasies and rustic charm of our first real episode.
