Most kids in my generation grew up as filmmakers. Everyone started a Youtube channel, made funny Photobooth videos or made vlogs with friends. Everyone remembers the distinct sound effects and music samples in iMovie, and the ridiculous filters in Photobooth. In elementary and middle school, I had a Youtube channel. I go through the memory of creating short films for my Youtube channel as a kid, from my creative process to my inspirations at the time that led me to my creative ideas, and what made me want to make films. This is a journey through the sound memories of my childhood short films and vlogs and how they influence me today. Produced by Emily Dosal

For me, wind chimes bring me ease. The calming presence of the chimes reminds me of my backyard in South Florida. I found that I am most calm and in the moment when I am home listening to the wind play with its instrument.
