It’s bowl season! Hosts David and Barry Stagg go through their favorite bowls, best bets, College Football Playoff semi-finals and finals picks, the bowl game swag, and follow-up on preseason predictions and bold calls.

Hosts David and Barry Stagg come back from the holidays. As college football season nears its end, we dive into a number of random topics, including some quick baseball hits; a recap of some NBA Futures at the quarter-mark; Penn State being left out of the College Football Playoff; NFL Futures and some Patriots/Ravens, Dolphins/Cardinals gambling chat; and they close with a couple notes on the Grammys.

This week, hosts David and Barry Stagg lament the Cy Young winners and the Astros recent roster moves. They talk college football, including predicting the Alabama vs. Chattanooga score, Texas at Kansas, Washington State at Colorado, and more. With a Louisville loss to Houston, they dive into what the potential College Football Playoff could look like. They turn to the NFL for their SuperContest picks, talk overrated teams and top scorers on the year.

On this week’s episode, hosts David and Barry Stagg run down their picks for both college football (including touching on Colorado vs. Arizona, Oregon vs. Stanford, plenty of Big 12 games, and some high totals on the week) and for the NFL with their weekly SuperContest picks.

The Cubs are World Series Champions! Hosts David and Barry Stagg go over the historic Game 7 between the Cubs and Indians. The hosts then go over their favorite picks for college football’s Week 10 action, including some housekeeping and accountability for last week’s picks. David then goes through six college teams to target when betting, identifying over and under valued teams based on their scores against the spread. Finally, they wrap up with their weekly NFL SuperContest picks.

Hosts David and Barry Stagg revisit last week’s plays, including hitting on a couple rotten bets but getting burned by some totals. The two then discuss this week’s college football slate, but due to some traveling and some indecision, they work through their leans live on the podcast. For the pros, they talk about whether or not Thursday Night Football is any good, the best cornerback in the league, Jay Cutler, and the Dallas Cowboys offensive line. Finally, they make their SuperContest picks for Week 8, including some talk about the nasty New England line. Spoiler alert: Take New England.

This episode was recorded as a shortened episode of Ep. 34. After releasing the original episode on Thursday, the audio quality was so awful, it was re-done with just the major points, including all college and NFL picks plus a little bit of NBA talk.

This week, hosts David and Barry Stagg start off by keeping it accountable and going over last week’s slightly above average record (in official picks on the podcast, at least). Then, they move on to talk college football sides, including the big Top 6 matchup between Alabama and Texas A&M, the LSU vs. Ole Miss matchup on a Saturday night in Louisiana, and some stinky, rotten lines that seem too good to be true. They move on to the NFL where they discuss AFC and NFC futures, NFL leaders a third of the way through the season, and Brock Osweiler’s first 13 games before the hosts go through their Fantasy SuperContest picks. At the end, they touch on some NBA futures involving the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets and some MVP talk. We apologize for the audio issues with David’s microphone this week.

Hosts David and Barry Stagg go over their weekly college football and NFL selections. David lauds Washington QB Jake Browning before the hosts keep it accountable and review last week’s selections. They revisit Until Further Notice with Texas Tech’s overs (among others) then get into their picks, a week in which Barry gives out the most selections he’s ever given on a show. Then, they move on to the NFL where the duo discuss some interesting numbers for a certain NFL backup QB, last week’s Gambling Bad Beats (including a deep prop bet), and a couple Fantasy Heartbreakers. They round out the show with their SuperContest selections, and Barry throws out a teaser, as well.

This week, cohosts David and Barry Stagg go over their weekly NFL and college football bets, including Fantasy SuperContest, Schwob Special and Key Game of the Week picks. Following, the hosts welcome baseball guru Spencer Wallen back to the podcast to recap the baseball season before discussing end of year awards for AL and NL MVP and AL and NL Cy Young. Finally, the trio welcome on Sunndrug drummer Chris Raines to make postseason baseball predictions. Raines was formerly in Norma Jean and Spitfire before starting Sunndrug. The band’s debut album, Exit Wounds, comes out Oct. 31.
