That Sammy Davis Jr sounding fellow is Scaramouche the Merciless, formerly Aku’s number one assassin, who we finally met in Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time this week, with all his battle flute majesty intact. This week, we’re going to check in on the continuing disaster that is the PS5 roll-out, we’ll take a look at the first PS5 optimized game that I played, No Man’s Sky, and how it utilizes the native PS5 functionality (or not), ending with how I’m preparing to spend the holiday break with my PS5. Let’s get to it! 

This week we have a special treat, we’ll be interviewing my son, part of the next generation of games, to talk to him about what he’s been playing recently, and what gaming means to him. After that we’ll look at the backwards compatibility of the PS5 for PS4 games, we’ll check in with my PS5 talking about the gameplay for Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time and what the exotic quest for Hawkmoon looks like!
