Ryan Beck is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Pray.com, the world’s #1 app for daily prayer and faith-based audio content. Pray.com is driven by a mission to grow faith, cultivate community, and leave a legacy of helping others. As with many young people growing up in difficult circumstances, Beck was introduced to drugs, gangs, and violent crime at an early age. Early drug use got him kicked out of school for the first time as a sophomore. Three months before graduating high school Beck was arrested for assault. Upon his release from jail, he began selling drugs, instead of using them. Subsequently, Beck was arrested again, this time for the distribution of narcotics, convicted, and sent to prison. It was in jail that a fellow inmate encouraged him to turn his life around, introducing him to the Bible, and encouraging him to explore his faith in Christ. Following his period of incarceration, Beck was given the opportunity to attend Calvary Bible College, where he was able to study theology and nurture his calling to create a Kingdom impact. While he did not feel called to be a minister, Beck did go onto pursue a double-major in philosophy and computer science at Calvin College, where he developed specific skills to serve organizations seeking to serve people at the intersection of technology and faith. In 2016, Beck reunited his relationship with Steve Gatena, a childhood friend from middle school, where Gatena shared his vision for a new project he was working on called Pray.com. Gatena invited Beck to join him and fellow co-founders Matthew Potter and Michael Lynn to build Pray.com as the digital destination for faith in 2016. Prior to coming to Pray.com, Beck had served as a backend engineer with Mission India. Jeremy Stalnecker is the CEO of the Mighty Oaks Foundation. The Mighty Oaks Foundation is dedicated to helping America’s military warriors and their families who are suffering from the unseen wounds of combat such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). While growing up in San Jacinto, CA, Jeremy’s only goal in life was to leave home and join the Marine Corps. This dream was finally realized with an active duty commission in 1999. Following Infantry Officer Course in Quantico, VA, Jeremy was assigned to First Battalion, Fifth Marines, First Marine Division as an infantry platoon commander. Serving first as a rifle platoon commander in a helicopter company and then as the platoon commander of the counter-mechanized platoon, Jeremy learned valuable leadership and communication skills that he continues to use today. In January 2003, Fifth Marines, as a part of the First Marine Division, deployed to Kuwait in support of what would become Operation Iraqi Freedom. As the war began, First Battalion, Fifth Marines was the infantry battalion used to breech the berm separating Kuwait and Iraq and secured the first major objective of the war. This led to a road march that ended with the battalion occupying Baghdad and seizing the presidential palace in northern Baghdad on the Tigris River. Throughout this movement, Jeremy and the counter-mechanized platoon provided navigation and lead security for the battalion. While in the Marine Corps, God was working in Jeremy’s life to turn his heart toward full-time ministry. Just one month after returning from Iraq, Jeremy became a staff member of his home church at Coastline Baptist in Oceanside, CA. Here he gained ministry experience that would equip him for the further leading of God. In his role as an Assistant Pastor, he counseled and mentored many couples and individuals while also maintaining other church responsibilities. It was a great privilege for him to be able to serve in this capacity so close to Camp Pendleton since most of the people he worked with were either Marines or the family members of Marines. In 2008, Jeremy and his family took on a new responsibility when he became the Senior Pastor, just east of San Francisco Bay at Bay Area Baptist Church in Fremont, CA. In this capacity, he continued to minister to families and individuals in a wide range of areas. After serving in the role of senior pastor for nearly seven years, the door leading to a full-time position with the Mighty Oaks Foundation opened. This move brought together both his ministry experience and military background in a way that allows him to serve and minister to many hurting veterans, service members and their families. Background: I was born in 1971 with a birth defect. I had four surgeries in the first three and a half years of my life. I am not supposed to be here. I thank God for the prayers of a godly mother. I spent my childhood on a dairy farm in south-central Kentucky about one and a half hours north of Nashville, Tennessee. My father was a bi-vocational SBC pastor and farmer, and from an early age, I desired to be a pastor. In 1989, I graduated from Barren County High School and began attending Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. In the spring of my freshman year of college, I began dating Tosha. During our dating years, in March 1992, a drunk driver killed my godly mom. This greatly shaped my view of what it means to live in a real relationship with God and others. I won the 1993 Liberty University preaching award and got to personally meet with Dr. Jerry Falwell. Additionally, I got to speak to 5k plus people in the weekly convocation service. In 1993, I married Tosha, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in pastoral studies, and began studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. While pursuing my seminary education, I worked as a youth pastor at South Park Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas. I became the interim senior pastor of that church during my final year in Dallas. I graduated cum laude from DTS with a master’s of theology (Th.M.) degree in pastoral studies in 1996. After completing seminary, Tosha and I became qualified as church planter apprentices with the Southern Baptist Convention. We moved to Colorado Springs to start Vanguard Church of Colorado Springs.  Vanguard quickly raised local media attention as well as national attention in media outlets such as Time, The 700 Club, Christianity Today, The New York Times, and ABC World News Tonight. I have now served as the Senior Pastor of Vanguard for  24 years and have transitioned from being a church planting/founding pastor to being a senior pastor.

He and his wife, Amanda, have long ties to St. Charles County.The Eigels owns St. Louis Skylights, one of the fastest growing skylight installation companies in America. The couple purchased the company only a few years after leaving the United States Air Force as Aircraft Maintenance Officers at Whiteman Air Force Base. The couple returned to St. Charles County to raise their children closer to their family and to be a part of the local community.As St. Louis Skylights grew and new branch offices opened, Bill Eigel worked to grow the company by recruiting recently retired Air Force veterans that he served with at Whiteman. For years now, it has been the author's habit to write a monthly letter to his children during their teenage years. The letters cover an amazing array of life lessons that also show an intimate glimpse of one family's life journey. Pastor Don has had a dream since he was 8 years old of being able to conquer the Pikes Peak Hill Climb.  A dream that seemed way far out of reach for him to even achieve.  Over the years PD (has he is affectionately known), has been involved in racing and ministry all while being a serial entrepreneur and owning one of the largest robotic integrators in the country .  In late 2018 all of this would change with a diagnosis from his doctor in which colon cancer was aggressively inhabiting his body, forcing him to sell his business and evaluate the future.   Refusing to let it shut him down he wanted to push to live life and reach others with the Gospel.  That's when a friend of his offered to help him accomplish his bucket list item of racing Pikes Peak Hill Climb.  However little did he know the battle to complete the Pikes Peak Hill Climb while fighting cancer would be a multi-year journey with crashes, challenges, and failure will he make it to the summit? https://fastestpastor.com/
