We recorded this one during Mississippi/Florida State and boy were we wrong about that game in hindsight. Hey, what about Houston winning! That was pretty good! Good enough to distract Chris from the crushing pain within him! College football is back FRIDAY! But a squirrel killed Hunter so we have to charge ahead. We uncover another conspiracy in the depths of this despicable game, we continue to make good of our threats to liveblog North Dakota State, and we do what we do in lieu of any acceptable analysis: gamble. We pick about a dozen point spreads for next week's kickoff games. I don't know how many, we didn't really bother to count. Get to know what teams are going to be snake-bitten and maybe you can lose some money along with us too.

Melissa Triebwasser from Frogs O' War joins the show. ESPN's Mark May is back on Twitter, a moment of singular celebration. Rougned Odor's punch gets a couple of Texans excited. But the big question today: the Big 12 conference. Its future lays precariously in the balance (again) and now the fates seem up to Oklahoma and Texas to decide what will happen to the 10 school collective in the face of growing demands for television contracts, shared revenue and a disaster called the Longhorn Network.

After a prolonged hiatus, the crew is back! Hunter, Nathan, Ross and Chris finally get back in to record a brand new podcast, but is it even Make Plays anymore? What are we gonna call this? While they think on that, they discuss the ongoings with the Ole Miss Rebels. The Laremy Tunsil revelation at the 2016 NFL Draft - that he was allegedly being paid by coaches and members of the athletic department - has put Ole Miss's future in jeopardy, but does the NCAA have any fight in them to even rule on the situation?

We invite our good friend Merritt back, because it's time for the annual "hey, football's over, time to talk a little about basketball" episode. Since she's a Tar Heel, she must know about basketball, right?! We try to talk about the other sport and the precarious situation at #1, the early surprises and early pitfalls, and all that's fit to be talked about.

Everything you want to know and a bag of chips about Alabama/Clemson and the broadcast that was. Hunter, Chris and Nathan talk about the best moments of the game, why Alabama makes for such a compelling watch this year, the story of Jake Coker, outstanding football, Lane Kiffin getting left behind and the outlook for both teams in chances they might return to the top in the next college football season.

Nathan and Chris preview the 2016 National championship game between Alabama and Clemson and struggle to find hope in ways that the Crimson Tide can finally get its door caved in. They also talk about Tom Herman and Texas A&M and continue to revel in these fresh new year vibes. Also, an apology to Iowa.

Hunter Cooke joins Chris and Nathan on the podcast again. Yes, that's right, it's a new podcast! We ain't dead, and we go about recapping the insane bowl season that was. We pick out our favorite bowl games, talk about the insanity of the Alamo Bowl, the disappointments in the New Years Six, watching all our teams lose, and vowing to fight people on many different subjects!

We did it. Two regular seasons in the book. Michigan State's just reward for defeating Iowa - getting a bigger Iowa as the boss fight. Just like any good video game. We dive into a massive ACC conspiracy against the Tar Heels, a few coaching moves, ANOTHER USC lawsuit, a Heisman field begging for opinions, and then it's time to TALK. SOME. BOWLS.

Brody joins the podcast with all his silver britches running over for Georgia football as the podcast settles in to talk about a wild and crazed year of coach hunting that's begun in earnest. Richt was fired by the Dawgs, but is it really that smart? Did USC just give up and settle? Where are all these schools expecting to find all these magical winning coaches? Did Les Miles just pull off a masterpiece trick play at LSU? We also recap some of the few surprises from rivalry week and start looking to pick games for Championship Saturday.

Ross isn't gone! He came back right after Michigan State beat Ohio State! What are the chances? The trio discuss Ohio State's implosion and the newfound discord in the locker room as the Buckeyes eye the pros.They also talk about Les Miles being fired/not fired simultaneously at LSU and Chris starts to doubt the superiority of the SEC (oh noooo). The American is still very good, and more time is spent to pick games and dish out previews for hate week, the greatest time of year.

We misplaced Ross somewhere around the sideline of the Nebraska/Michigan State game and attempt to power through. Discussion for this week includes the events at the University of Missouri and the College Football Playoff committee's latest rankings, along with other remarks from games of the Week 10, including a crazy Mississippi/Arkansas finish. We also pick games for the upcoming weekend, as always.

There's several ways one can digest the ending of Miami and Duke. The one we took was inviting old friend Merritt to the show and laughing about Duke together. Recaps, season outlooks, and big questions remain from last week, and the podcast works feverishly to tackle everything thrown its way.

Al Golden was terminated following a 58-0 home blowout to Clemson, so we welcome Nicholas to the podcast to discuss the state of the U and where things can possibly go from here to restore Miami to a competent national power. With not that much action to speak we take stock on middle season grades, best teams and most surprising et al, and scenarios where each conference might not see the promised land of the playoff.

We let Ross take the floor on Michigan/Michigan State, break it down logically even, and talk about every angle conceivable on what was the game of the 2015 season so far.
