Episode 21: The Battle Cry of Jordyn Glaser
Jordyn Glaser stopped by Jen's house on her way in from Central Oregon and we had the best conversation in our camper van! Jordyn recently released her book, Battle Cry and we got the inside scoop on her story. Neither of us had met Jordyn before, but having both read her book, it was so meaningful to get to meet her in real life and hear more from the heart of a woman who has really been through a lot! You will not believe the things she and her family have faced and the joy and strength that have come out of this journey. You can learn more about Jordyn on her website and you can follow her on Instagram: @jordynglaser (go check out photos of her adorable family!)

Episode 20: When Life Takes an Unexpected Turn with Amy Gunn
We are consistently amazed by the stories of strength and resilience shared by so many women in the camper van. In this episode, Amy brings to light the necessity of taking each day of our life with a hopeful perspective. We are so thankful for her brave openness. It takes a lot to share personal details about each of our struggles and Amy is no exception. Several years ago she faced the beginning of what would be several layers of health struggles that she continues to live with today, and for so many of us, we would be knocked over, unable to see the good. You will be so encouraged by her outlook. It hasn't always been positive for her, and each day she has to work at it, but with the undeniable hope and grace that God provides, she reminds us about the real purpose of our lives. Do you have a story you'd be willing to share? Or just want to meet up with us in the camper van and chat life? Or maybe have a friend that might want to spend some time talking to us? We would love to hear from you. We are just starting to put our summer schedule together so reach out and let us know! We are looking for women that value authenticity and are willing to be raw and honest. You might not even think your story is worth sharing (trust us, EVERY SINGLE person we have invited has questioned the worth of their story), but we know that each of us brings something unique! And we get positive feedback from EVERY SINGLE episode, women relating to each other and being woven into this community of truth tellers.

Episode 19: Overcoming and Healing with Joy Chatterton
We've switched over to every other week for the winter because this PNW weather has been messing with our system! But meanwhile, we've been sitting on this episode we recorded in the fall with Joy. Her story is brave and full of tough things, but also filled with the truth and healing power of a God that cares about our every detail. I love the way she describes the simplicity of God and how simple it is for us to reach out when we need help. We loved sitting with Joy and hearing her heart. She has so much to share, even more that we didn't have time to get into (maybe another episode coming later?!). When we heard her experience, it reminded us how much we want to support our daughters, love others around us and seek God with a whole heart.

Episode 18: Kori: Choosing Faith Over Fame
A few months ago we sat with Kori Isfeld and talked about her lifetime career in the modeling industry. She was very brave to share a part of her story that she has not shared with most people, but she felt that called to share the truth of some of the hardest parts of her career. You know what we love about Kori? She is sincere, honest and brave. She is incredibly humble and one of the most gentle souls you'll ever meet. Her commitment to her family and her faith above all else will remind you of the importance in your own life.

Meanwhile, we met up at Stacey's camp trailer and chatted about our Enneagram numbers (and if you don't know what that is, you'll learn all about it here!) and our goals and life in general. Episode 15: Moving Past our Fears with Sarah Burk
This week we met up with Sarah (actually last spring, she was one of our very first interviews... we figured since she's Jen's sister she'd be patient with us while we stumbled through technology issues!). Sarah shares some really good stuff here. It was fun just chatting about life and traveling, but then we get into some of the harder stuff... anxiety, home births, being a mom and some really sweet dreams she has for her future. Of course we love Sarah to death, she is a sister and long time friend to us, and we know you'll love her too! She's the real deal. She is honest and brave and raw and strong and funny. She gives us a glimpse into her life, which we know you'll relate to. Follow Sarah: @sarah_burk

Episode 12: Jesus, Horses and Hope with Kim Meeder
We had the most amazing opportunity to sit down with Kim Meeder at her ranch, Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch, and talk with her about her life. Truly, this conversation was intense. We left the ranch that day a little speechless, just taking in all that Kim had to say. When you listen to this, know that Kim is not messing around! She is not into frills or fancy, she is here on this planet to do the work that God calls her to do. And we feel so blessed that she took time out of her busy schedule to talk with us, because we left there feeling changed. Kim's life changed forever when she was 9 years old with her parents murder-suicide. Soon after, she experienced healing that only Jesus can provide along with emotional comfort through a horse. This experience paved the way for what would become Crystal Peaks.Kim is not only a horse ranch gal, she is an author and speaker and lover of the outdoors. She is a very gifted story teller and she is someone you want to sit with for hours. This episode was meant to air the week before Christmas and it's a little late (thanks to a busy season...), but it fits right in with the spirit of this time. This week we celebrate the birth of Jesus and Kim brings a message filled with the purpose of Jesus to inspire us to carry Him into our lives every day, in all that we do.Kim has written several books, we talk with her about her newest "Encountering our Wild God" and we also mentioned an older favorite "Hope Rising. We hope you get a chance to read! Find out more about Kim and the ranch:www.crystalpeaksyouthranch.org

Episode 11: Advent, Christmas favorites and more with Jen, Stacey and family
OK, not our typical episode. (can we say we have a "typical episode" when we've only had 10 (11 counting today!) so far?) We recently got together with Jen's mom, sis and aunt and pretended to bake Christmas cookies, but mostly just had a lot of bacon and some "holiday" beverages. This is an annual tradition that we've all been doing for many, many years so we thought we should include the podcast this year. It's a treasured part of our friendship and the holiday season. We hope you are taking some time to fulfill old traditions, start new ones and spend time with those you love. The new year is coming, which is a wonderful time to reflect on how this one went and things we look forward to in the future. Promise yourself right now that you will carve out time for this reflection and some down time for rejuvenation. We treasure this little "cookie baking day" every year. It's not always the same, sometimes kids are there (you'll hear my sweet niece Frances this time), sometimes we have all day and sometimes we have a few hours. One year we made plates of cookies, this year we made none! We laugh and set aside real life for this time, no matter what the circumstance. We hope you enjoy this little glimpse into the special morning we shared. Link we mention:The Kloons Episode 1

Episode 10: A Gift of Unconditional Love with Jennifer Vesbit
We hope you had a chance to listen last week when we talked with Sue Anne about being the recipient of an egg donor. It was the perfect lead in to share Jennifer Vesbit's story with you this week. Jennifer has an incredible story about her and her husband's journey through infertility, IVF, twins, and becoming embryo donors. She is vulnerable and tells us in beautiful detail all that she has been through. She offers amazing insight and honesty to a topic that many of us have heard of, but probably don't know much about. We learned so much from her and admire the work she is doing to help others that are walking a similar path in the relatively new world of embryo donation. She is a beautiful soul, filled with humor and enthusiasm and some phrases that you'll probably only hear come out of her mouth. Sue Anne's life is not traditional or what she expected. It hasn't gone all the ways she asked for or hoped, but it is exactly as it should be. She shares about getting married at 38 and their struggle with infertility and the path they chose which leads them to their twin girls. She offers us a refreshing perspective and a reminder that even when you think things aren't the way you asked for, something better is usually on the way! @sueannewilliamsprhttps://m.facebook.com/groups/293129824401923http://www.pureromance.com/sueannewilliams

Episode 7: Founder + CEO of Sudara - Shannon Keith
"It really is ordinary people doing small things every day that make the difference in the world. It's not a few people doing large grandiose things. It's everyone, doing a small part, like that, that create social change and small shifts in society, because it's a critical mass of people doing things." We met up with Shannon Keith, the founder and CEO of Sudara. Have you shopped Sudara? Let us fill you in..... luxury pajamas, robes, slippers, leggings and more (even some man things) that are waiting to make you lounge on your couch all weekend. Sudara's mission is founded on a fair trade model that includes multiple sewing partnerships in India, making a way for many women to work and alter the course of their lives with a new skill, career and confidence. We loved our time with Shannon and felt so privileged that she agreed to meet us, really not knowing us at all, and share her huge heart and dreams with us in our little old van in the woods. We had a lot of questions and she had ALL the answers! We can't wait to meet her again one of these days for a part 2 episode! You know what's even cooler than this chat? We did a lot of our interviews this summer and so now they are finally rolling out in the fall. Since then, some time has passed and we've both been making a lot of conscious choices in life. Our purchasing choices have started to shift. Our goals have begun to include a lot more local and a lot less crap. We've minimized our houses a bit (Stacey winning in this category), we've set Christmas intentions to be more meaningful and locally made, we've shared these things with our friends and we've sought out more guests on our show that represent this message. Guys! This is good stuff. This gives us more purpose and clarity and less junk and waste. Get with us on this. You'll be glad you did! www.sudara.org@sudaragoods
