Do you ever feel confused when listening to Pastors or online faith influencers? While using media to learn more about Christ, can be a great way to grow in the knowledge of the Lord it can also leave us feeling confused.  Today's encouragement for Christian moms is all about discernment and how to look for the fruit in others and how to examine our own lives to find the fruit.  As Christians, we need to be careful about who and what we allow to speak into our life. Garbage in garbage out is the famous old saying. Cultivating a strong bond with my children is so important to me and I bet it is important to you aswell. Today we are going to talk about some ways to better understand your child so that you can strengthen the parent child relationship. We are unique beings and not lumping the way you treat and handle behaviour in all of your children is key. + a littel tip to help you be intnentional with the way each child feels loved!!

This parenting tip works so very well! Whenever my child or I am feeling disconnected is because this isn't happening! One on one time is so important, especially in a big family. Even if you can't get large chunks of time in, these 3 keys times during the day can make such an impact! 

Should we set goals? Should we try to control outcomes when God is in control? I believe it comes down to stewardship and proactivity and as long as our goals align with furthering the kingdom the YES set goals! Let's talk more about goal setting as a Christian.

After 17 years together and 12 years of marriage, I have learned a thing or two. Here is my best advice for Christian Couples to have a successful marriage.

Today we have special guest Jennifer from The Encouraging Mom Blog. Motherhood has been filled with pain for her but God met her there and gave her peace and joy and hope amidst the tragedies she have faced. 

Our biggest sphere of influence is right within the 4 walls of our homes. Sometimes we are so busy doing all the things we forget how important that home culture is in order to reflect gospel love to all those we come in contact with.  Studies show the things in our home directly impact our moods, more things means more overwhelm more to manage more to clean.  Overwhelm leads to living reactively instead of proactively. When we are in a reactive mode, our cortisol (stress hormone) levels are higher, we tend to be short and snappier with our spouse and children and we feel like we are on a never ending hamster wheel but not actually accomplishing anything.
