After a brief (well, sort of protracted) Thanksgiving Day break, we are back with a great guest, @tatteduplittle (FL) talking about how he sustains his kink experience after he and his Nilla partner talked about it. Dr. Rhoda Lipscomb is back on Love In Brief to talk about her new book, "You're Not Broken : Dr. Rhoda's Guide to Strong Self Worth for ABDLs." It is a must-read for ABDLs, their partners, and even the parents of those who are ABDLs. On this episode, we pick up with Part 2 of our discussion with @diaperedkent (FL) about the modern history of the ABDL community in the US. We pick up in the 1990's with the dawn of the digital age, and discussion about how the internet, email etc. sped up the pace of connection and brought with it some of the early sites in the community, as well as some of the community's earliest problematic digital behaviors. None of us know how long ABDL has been a thing in concept, but it has been a thing in name (in one form or another) for 50 years or less. And the ABDL community has been around for an even shorter period, evolving from snail-mail correspondence and back-room photo developing through the days of the very first PO boxes, personal ads and meet-ups, and well into the internet age. On this episode of Love In Brief, we get the pleasure of talking with DiaperedKent (@diaperedkent on FetLife) about his experience both participating in and creating the first ABDL communities in the United States, and possibly around the world. (We would love to know about other communities around the world created back in the 60's and 70's, please write to us!) It is an enthralling discussion with consistent themes for today, and helps us to question and evolve even further how we want to do community together.

This week's episode is out, and as always I wanted to get it straight to you! This week's episode was a request: what about those mistakes that people make early on that can actually be dangerous? And how do you avoid them? So we talked to two people who had just that experience and were willing to share their experiences, and some tips for next time. Huge thanks to Diapered Wolf Pup and Arellabell (who wants me to tell you she is 5'10" tall for some reason, which is absolutely untrue) for being brave enough to share their stories! In this episode we talk to a cybersecurity expert (and friend in the community) about common mistakes people make regarding their data privacy, and some really practical tips and tricks on how you can do an even better job making sure your private life is kept truly private. (It's also a first for LIB -- RY is substituting his voice in for our expert's in real-time for the purposes of... well... privacy! Let's see how it goes....)

We are back from our annual summer hiatus, and rearin' to go! Psyched to get back into the question collection, dust off a couple of wonderful but overlooked questions, and hopefully pull out some timely advice. It's also time to share a new theme song from a talented LIB listener! Here is our quarterly question round up, where we tackle issues like keeping friends between events, being a kink N00b in a big city, how to find love beyond just the kink, and how normal/weird you are for liking what you like. We talk with @realcoffeemom (IG) @dadgazm (IG) @_fuzzy_dunlop (IG) and @dabsanddips (IG) about how they built their ABDL SuperStore, ABDLr (@abdlrdenver on all social media), which is opening in Denver in August 2021. This intrepid crew reflects on the others who have come before them to pioneer selling adult diapers in retail, talks about the process of going from dreaming to doing, and looks forward to what may be to come for ABDL retail in the future. Aaaand, some sneak previews of the store features!

It's hard to believe after fourteen months of quarantine, but *events are starting up again!* They will start small and grow over time as folks get vaccinated... so what better time than now to talk about how to prepare for the munches, meetups and events of the future? In this episode, we welcome back Mako (FL) to the podcast to talk about his process of building a web app, Weminder, specifically for the ABDL community. He brings his thoughtful advice to those with a tech bent or a big idea about how to make an app for ABDLs. Spring is in the air, the tulips are blooming and many of us are walking around with goose-eggs on our arms from COVID vaccines. That means it is almost time to emerge from our quarantine huts and begin to see actual other human beings socially again! This season's question round-up is focused on how to meet other ABDL folk without blowing your cover and potentially screwing things up with your family, your job, etc. We tackle three similar questions at once and share some tips from our own experience meeting others over the years.
