The New Jersey Devils suffered one of their worst losses of the season to the New York Islanders by a score of 5-1. It was the first time this year that the Devils lost by more than three goals and came off the heels of them clinching a playoff spot in their previous matchup against the Ottawa Senators. Timo Meier made his New Jersey Devils debut against the Arizona Coyotes at Mullett Arena and didn't disappoint. He was able to score the first goal of the game and made sure to assert himself throughout the night. Timo Meier is now officially a part of the New Jersey Devils organization. The Devils were able to land their main target just a few days before the trade deadline. Meier adds scoring, strength, and size to an already elite offense. He will definitely be a huge asset come playoff time and can definitely help the Devils make a deep playoff run. Former captain of the New Jersey Devils, Bruce Driver, accompanied me on today's special episode. Driver was a part of the first-ever Devils team that won a Stanley Cup back in 1995. Aside from that, he also participated in the Olympics for Team Canada and had a stacked career at the University of Wisconsin.
