EP 134: Creating A Retention Strategy Based On Your Client Journey
When it comes to working with clients, one of the big mistakes that many entrepreneurs make is not having a retention strategy in place for when they are done working with that client. It is a lot easier to keep a current client than it is to market and gain a new one, so you should have a plan in place for how you will be able to continue working with that client even after your program has been completed. In this week’s episode I share with you three ways that you can begin to retain your current clients! EP 132: 3 Stress Relieving Boundaries To Set In Your Business
One of the biggest pushbacks I hear when working with clients is that they are worried that if they begin taking on new clients that it will limit the amount of freedom and flexibility that they have in their personal life. Not to mention the possible stress that often comes with working with clients. I’m here to tell you that 9 times out of 10, if client work has you stressed out, it because you don’t have any boundaries set around your time, your product or your price. In this previously recorded IG live, I shared more on how to set these boundaries and where I went wrong! //SUPPORT Don't forget to rate the show on Apple Podcast and leave a review! //CONNECT Follow Alisha on Instagram for more tips and strategies. EP 131: Pivoting Your Business Model In Order To Tap Into Your Zone of Genius
When it comes to entrepreneurship, where you are now or where you’ll end up a few years from now, is rarely where you started. As you launch your business and as you continue to grow, you may find that you have a deeper understanding of your audience, of your purpose and the mission that you want your brand to be known for. And often with that, making a pivot in your business is required. The problem with that is, many entrepreneurs are afraid to take the leap. You’ve probably gotten into a comfortable spot in your business and your day to day tasks. So jumping into new territory is terrifying! But in many cases, in order to get to where you want to be, you can’t stay the same. That’s one of the realizations that I have come to over the past few months within our business. More specifically, the business model. Living Over Existing today is not what it was 3 years ago when I sort of just launched. And I say sort of because it was never supposed to be a brand beyond the book that I wrote. So if you’ve been thinking about pivoting your business model or you feel like you’re going backwards because you are making a huge shift, I wanted to take you down memory lane and share how our business model has changed over the past few years, how we got to where we are today and where we’re headed.

EP 129: Want to build your personal brand? Focus on one thing
So I have been saying this for months, everyone wants to make money but no one wants to take the time out to build the brand and do the work. Which I get it. We currently live in a microwaveable society where everyone wants immediate results. Add that on top of people only showing the six figures they made and not the work they put in behind it and it has almost created this false narrative that success can truly be achieved over night. But we all know that is impossible. So this week I wanted to chat with you about the 3 necessities to building a successful and profitable personal brand. These necessities are built around what I have been calling The Power of One. One Audience, One Problem and One solution. EP 126: Working Brighter with Brittany Berger
This week I am chatting with Brittany Berger, the founder of WorkBrighter.co, a digital media company that helps productive unicorns go beyond working smarter to a version of productivity that makes room for “unproductive” things like rest, self-care, and fun. She started Work Brighter after 5 years running content marketing in high stress startups that prioritized hustle, growth, and scaling over self-care and mental health. Now that she's changed her own mindset, she spends her time helping other people escape Hustle Culture and define balance for themselves, advocating for mental health and chronic illness awareness, and dancing...always dancing! This episode, Brittany and I chat about: How working at a hustle-focused startup and running two online business pushed her into slowing down and focusing on her own mental health. The mindset shifts she needed to make to get to the place she is in now with prioritizing self-care How managing both a mental and chronic illness affects how she runs her business. What it means to work brighter and be productive while also prioritizing self-care Find the show notes for this episode at www.livingoverexisting.com/episodes/126

Ep 120: What Type of Content Should I Be Sending To My Email Subscribers?
I feel like a lot of the advice online talks about email list growth. All the different ways you can get more subscribers. But once you have those people on your list, what are you supposed to say next? One of the biggest reasons why you do end up ghosting your list is because you went into list building without an actual content plan. So in this week’s episode I want to share a few content topics that you can send to your list on a regular basis! For this episode we collaborated with noissue! noissue was founded to provide makers, brands and businesses of all sizes access to custom, sustainable packaging. EP 119: Quick Tips For Reviving A Cold Email List
How many times have you been ghosted by someone you were genuinely interested in? You thought everything was going great then BOOM they stop texting you back or answering your calls. And you're left wondering what went wrong. So you move on, you find other people and then all of a sudden they are back blowing up your inbox as if nothing happened. That probably annoys the crap out of you right? Then why are you doing that to your email list? Getting them all hyped up with what you'll have to offer then ghosting them for months only to pop in later to talk about your new shiny project. They are probably just as annoyed. And yes I just compared dating to your email list because someone giving you their email these days is just as big as giving someone your phone number. If you have ghosted the subscribers on your email list then today's episode is for you! So all this month we're chatting about growing your email list. More specifically the ladies in our membership community, The LOE Collective are working to create a 5-day email challenge that they will use to grow their list and build trust with their audience. But there is an elephant in the room that we need to tackle first, what do you do if you haven't spoken to your list in months? If ever? For one, its ok! We've all been there! But that doesn’t mean that you have to scrap your list and start over. Today I wanted to share a quick process for reviving a cold list! For this episode we collaborated with noissue! noissue was founded to provide makers, brands and businesses of all sizes access to custom, sustainable packaging. Whether you’re looking for custom tissue paper like we include in our member welcome kits, custom stickers or even tape, noissue’s eco-friendly packaging allows you to provide your customers with an unboxing experience that isn’t tarnished by excessive amounts of non-recyclable plastic.
