Seven Ways to Make an Impact with Your Life with Mike Bruny
The Living for Monday Show Episode 024 featuring Mike "Ambassador" Bruny What if you had a one page life-guide from each of the best thinkers in the world? Back in college, my business school would host events at least once per week where they would bring distinguished alumni back to give sage words of advice and field questions from the students. I would dutifully attend as many of the events as possible, and I even tried my best to prep by researching the speaker ahead of time. When I arrived I grabbed a safe seat -- not too close to the speaker, but close enough that she would know I was listening. I can remember one particular instance when a speaker finished up and I tracked him down outside the presentation room. He worked in an industry I was interested in (or at least thought I was), so I wanted to be sure to introduce myself personally. He was one of the rare speakers who did his best to do more than just tell his life story. Instead, he tried to share business lessons and sage advice as we were all beginning to plan our first career search. When I finally got a chance to speak to him, I remember being a bit tongue tied. I managed to hold my own in conversation, but I walked away knowing that I wanted to learn more. The problem was that I simply didn't have enough time or the right questions prepared to get his best pieces of advice out of him. At that moment I really would have killed to have a one pager that summarized his life and business lessons. Something that I could refer back to when making a big decision or thinking about the next product we want to create at Living for Monday. In fact, it would be incredible if every speaker I've ever heard give a talk would have handed me a one pager to summarize his worldview, life lessons, or point of the talk. Imagine having an entire Evernote folder of your speaker notes with one page infographics attached, featuring the best stuff possible from Jim Collins, Gary Vaynerchuk, Seth Godin, Malcom Gladwell,  and more (if you don't know them, check 'em out). If you know that feeling of wanting to recall the lessons from your favorite speakers, thinkers, authors, and bloggers, then you can imagine my excitement when I found Mike Bruny's The Ambassador's Creed. Why Mike Bruny is today's guest on the show I first learned about Mike "Ambassador" Bruny at World Domination Summit 2012, when he gave an awesome short-form talk on the main stage at the conference. He used rhymes and crafty wording to

The Living for Monday Show Episode 015: Chris C. Ducker
What's up L4M community! We're back with another episode of The Living for Monday Show. I've spent all day agonizing over what to do with this episode. Due to my own fault, the audio quality is crap, while the content quality is gold thanks to our guest. In fact, my internet connection was so bad when I recorded this episode that the first 12 minutes of conversation were completely corrupted and unrecoverable. So, despite the user and technical errors, I've decided that the 23 minutes we did capture are too valuable not to post, despite the hiccups in audio quality.
