Saturday Late Night Talk- Why You Must Recharge
Recharging your mind, body, spirit and soul is essential if you want to become successful. If we're constantly in hustle mode then we will burn out. Just like a car that needs to be refuelled, our body needs to be revitalize also. Goals are important but we also have to take care of our mental being. In this episode I share with you how I recharge and why you must recharge. Stay focus and stay limitless. What happens when you don’t charge your cell phone? You turn down the screen brightness, try not to check your texts, and count down the moments until your phone shuts off altogether. While as humans we don’t have the ability to send emails from our brains, we do function similarly to cell phones in that we require energy to perform tasks. And just like your phone, when we’re not fully charged, we don’t perform as well. What we mean by “recharging” can look differently depending on your life, but essentially it means self-care and rest. It’s not something you do just on vacation, either; you should be taking time out throughout every day to recharge. But we as humans  are terrible at recharging—we work harder, take fewer vacations, retire later, and have fewer days off than any other industrialized country. Here’s proof that you should be taking time out of your day to rest and refresh: 1. It reduces stress You’re a lovely person, but that friendliness is diminished when you’re stressed, right? That’s because stress can mute positive traits, and that can have an impact on your interpersonal relationships as well as your coping mechanisms. When you step away from the stress by meditating, taking a walk, or finding some other way to relax, you allow your positive traits to shine. 2. It increases creativity On a typical day, you’ve got so many things on your mind that there really isn’t space for your creativity to flourish. By resting and recharging, you allow your creativity a chance to take up space again. 3. You’ll feel better The stress hormone cortisol makes you feel panicked and on edge, but when you relax, you’ll give your “feel-good” hormones a chance to be released. Your mood will feel elevated and you’ll be more prepared to take on the day. 4. It might help you live longer Studies have shown stress contributes to the top causes of death, so when you take the time to recharge and reduce your stress, you’re helping yourself physically. That could mean avoiding some fatal health issues. 5. It can strengthen your immune system Relaxation helps your body repair itself, and that means your immune system benefits. Remember when finals rolled around in college? How did you feel? Chances are, your friends all caught colds and you felt terrible. That’s because stress weakens the immune system. Recharging regularly can help keep you well.

HOW YOUR THOUGHTS CREATE OR DESTROY YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE What’s up, everybody? Today, I’m bringing you a little solo episode with a lesson that I think is really going to help you become limitless In this lesson, I want to talk about SELF-CONFIDENCE. So many of us — myself included — struggle with it. Especially in this world where we’re constantly striving for clicks and likes, it’s so easy to get discouraged and let our self-confidence break. These thoughts of self-doubt and fear come into our minds, and we build them up until they become our beliefs. And if we’re not careful, those limiting beliefs will ultimately defeat us. We’ve got to find a way to overcome self-doubt. But here’s what I’ve found out: You don’t overcome self-doubt. You have to build something bigger. You need to develop self-confidence that is bigger, stronger, and more powerful than your fear and self-doubt. But how do we do it? Today, I’m sharing the biggest thing you can do to build strong self-confidence. I’m going to teach you how to counteract your limiting beliefs and use the power of your thoughts to create the SELF-CONFIDENCE you need to WIN. Before I dive in, I want you to know something: This IS possible for you. You can STOP being limited by your negative thoughts and self-doubt. You weren’t born with those thoughts — You were born believing you were destined for great things. And today, you can begin building confidence in yourself again. Let’s get started. SELF-DOUBT COMES FROM OUTSIDE YOU Before I dive into the biggest thing you can do to build self-confidence, I think it’s important that we fully understand self-doubt. Here’s the thing: Thoughts of self-doubt do not originate inside your head. You were not born feeling discouraged and defeated. You were not born doubting your self-worth and feeling like you aren’t good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, or worthy enough. You were born with innate goodness, and you had all the self-confidence you needed. The problem is that as we grow up and interact with other people, these negative thoughts of self-doubt come into our minds, and they usually show up early in our lives. Maybe they came from our parents when they said things like, “Don’t do that. Be quiet. Sit down. Be a good boy. Be a good girl.” Maybe they came from a school teacher who criticized us in front of the class. Or, perhaps, they came from the other kids who teased us on the playground and said mean things. The point is: Those negative thoughts did not come from you. They came from a source outside of you. But here’s the thing: Our brains are powerful. When a thought comes in, your brain will automatically start trying to prove that it’s true. You will begin recalling events in your life when that belief was true to support that belief. I think of it as a table. The thought that comes into your mind is the top of the table, and your brain starts building legs and supports under the table to support it. You start thinking of moments in your life when you weren’t smart enough, pretty enough, in the right religion, the right height, the right race, or in the right culture. And each time your brain finds another memory of a time when you felt like you weren’t enough, you build another leg on the table. You support it more and more until you can’t move it at all. At that point, it’s a full belief. And you’re going to have trouble tearing it back down.
