When Elisha received the mantle of his mentor, Elijah, a new era of the double blessing began with Better, More and Greater for the people of God. The passing of Lifegate’s mantle of Lead Pastor is God’s plan to also usher in the double blessing of Better, More and Greater for God’s glory and for the transformation, comfort, encouragement and Life of our people.

We often assume the path to our best future will be filled with ease and affirmation. And when it’s not, we often lose heart. But, Jesus shows us how to see the challenges along the way as opportunities rather than obstacles.

When you put “blessing" and "succession” together, it may seem like an oxymoron. Unfortunately successions in life, whether in business, government and even the church, can mean power struggle, control, hurt feelings, and broken relationships. It may surprise you to learn succession is actually God’s idea and His plan for things to get better and better. In this first of 4 talks, you’ll discover God’s plan and path for succession in our Church and in your own life.

In this season of revival in our world, shouldn’t we just stop everything and have constant worship services? God has called us to a "both and” of Formation (truth expressed in practices) and Fire (welcoming God’s “thin space” presence). In this last week of Money Talks, we are going to watch a debate between Tithing and Mammon as they argue for your allegiance. And then, provide an opportunity to choose the winner in your life. 

In this series we are learning that money actually talks, and has a message which is animated by one of two spirits: the spirit of Mammon or the Spirit of God. Either one of these voices will powerfully influence us depending on which we are drawn to. Mammon’s message? You will only be happy and at peace when you have enough money. God’s message? You can experience contentment no matter how much or little money you have - through Jesus! 

Money tells us that cash is king. If we have cash, we have the power that will gives us the freedom we all want. But Jesus tells us, while money is a form of power, it’s not the kind of power we need to seek.  

The covenant of God's everlasting love and faithfulness to Abraham was for him and his family and then through them to the entire world. God wants everyone to experience this same covenant promise! He’s chosen His people and our willingness to mirror and mimic (imitate) His faithfulness as His means of making the world right again; starting with one relationship, marriage, family, church at a time. This can happen if we learn to heed His Call to Faithfulness. 

A lot of us believe God is faithful to others, but we have a hard time believing that God is faithful to me!
