Big D is back and he's pissed off beyond belief. Several female legislators in the Michigan House want to restrict strip clubs and license dancers and club managers. Big D goes over the history of past legislation, what the current bills being proposed really do, and how you can fight this. On this very special episode, we look back at the life of former Parkway Tropics manager Joe Hess, aka Hot Tub Joe, who passed away on March 7, 2018 after suffering a massive heart attack at age 64. Big D shares stories about his friend Joe and some of the things that happened in that hot tub, including the bed that needed WD-40, the hand lotion contest, and the party that happened when Joe wasn't home. It's a love fest as we talk about the old "soak and poke." This episode is dedicated to the memory of Joe Hess: 2/23/54-3/7/18

As firearm deer hunting season begins to wind down in Michigan, Big D takes a look back at the annual Parkway Tropics "Deer Hunter Widow's Weekend" that was so popular from 1980-2009. Big D describes the work that went into "Deer Hunter Widow's Weekend", some of the skits that were performed, and how one practice session left a lasting impression.

By request, Big D answers questions about being a disc jockey in the strip club industry. ---What was a typical day like? ---Do dancers request their own music? ---What equipment does the club provide? ---Do the DJs have "acts" or a signature method? It's take your listeners to work day as Big D goes through a typical day at some of the clubs he's worked at including Little Darlings in Kalamazoo and the Parkway Tropics in Grand Rapids.

I didn't like how the original episode 5 was organized (meaning it wasn't) so I cut a second take of this episode. This episode looks at how exotic dancers are classified by clubs. Should they be independent contractors? Or should they be employees? Big D examines industry lawsuits over these issues, some of the potential positives and negatives of each classification, and how the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hours Division determines how a worker is classified. This is a must listen for club owners, club managers, and house dancers.

On episode 4, Big D discusses feature entertainers. Big D talks about the features he worked with at Heart Beats in Battle Creek, MI, the one feature he didn't like working with, the industry features he would like to work with, and the night he stopped a feature from drunk dialing Ron Jeremy. We travel in the time machine back to 2011 and look at feature entertainers. This podcast is dedicated to the memories of Sondra Saxon and Natasha Vega.

Episode 3 is finally ready. Big D talks about The Gentleman 131 which used to be a bikini bar in Stanwood, Michigan just south of Big Rapids. Topics include how the Ruddy Dux restaurant became The Gentleman 131, how the Amish stopped the club from becoming totally topless, failure of the first set of owners, rebirth with new owners, why Big D only stayed on the job two weeks, the fire that destroyed the building, Big D's exploration of rebuilding the club and why it never happened, and the current legal troubles of one of the former owners. The cement slab and the sign are all that's left of The Gentleman 131, but Big D delivers the memories and the dirt of that place.
