Which put her in constant protecting mode and made it Lisa against her father for most of her childhood. In this episode I talk with Em about her relationship with Jason. Em was introduced to her emotional abuser through her Rabbi! He was charming and loving to the outside world, but thats not the side that Em saw. She experienced a lot of intense emotional abuse that ended up causing her PTSD and panic attacks. In episode five, I talk with Michael about his experience with emotional abuse. In episode four I sit down with Becky as she talks about why she stayed in her abusive relationship. In this episode, I sit down with Andie. We talk about how her main form of emotional abuse was isolation. Andie's abuse was very subtle and it took her a while to identify that what she was experiencing was emotional abuse. The two of us discuss the difference between a healthy relationship and an emotionally abusive one.
