This week, Queenie is excited to receive a parcel of poems from her friends Lisa and Sheila, who work at Scotland’s National Centre for Languages. The poems are six of the winners of this year's Mother Tongue Other Tongue competition, and are in the languages of Akrikaans, Bulgarian, Doric, French, Italian, Spanish, and Urdu. Queenie and Chicken are busy working through everything they want to complete before starting a new diary. This week, Queenie is preparing a special goodbye party for Hedgehog, who is starting hibernation for Winter.
