The Mental Health Battle in Athletics
Tynelle has transitioned beautifully from an NCAA athlete to getting her MBA and jumping into the workforce. She has some great insight on mental health due to life experiences. In this episode, we get real on the topic of mental health. It is not a fun topic to bring up, but it is one that we all must face the realities of because the statistics do not lie.  It is NOT just a sports problem, but I think athlete are under more pressure because they have been “tough” their whole lives. It is hard to put your entire life into one thing and then see it end before you are ready to let it go. When athlete are retiring and moving on to another sport, we need to do much more to help them succeed mentally as well.
