Episode Description: In this episode I'll talk about sin. (That ugly three letter word that we all fail to avoid.) How do we walk in the Light while we sin? Must we be saved every time we sin? No, We have a continuous relationship with the lamb of God. He will continually forgive us of our sins as we confess them in his name, Jesus Christ. Walking in the Light1 John 1:5-101 John 2:1-21 John 1:5-10This is the message that we heard from him and declare to you: God is the Light; in him there is no darkness at all.If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the Light, as he is the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his son, purifies us from all sin.If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.1 John 2:1-2My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense-Jesus Christ, The Righteous One.He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.Do you go through life only taking one shower? No, most people cleanse their body daily. You must also cleanse your soul daily by repenting and confessing your sins in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. He is the solitary payment for your transgressions. And His forgiveness is something you should crave and ask for daily. Very few, if any, people go through life sinless. It is in our nature to sin. We are broken, sinful creatures. One need only look at humanity now to see proof of that.Walking in the light is to live in fellowship with the Father and the Son. Sin intturupts the fellowship but it doesn't effect the relationship. Remember to confess your sins instataniously. That restores the fellowship and keeps it unbroken.
