Interview With Gilberto Martinez (Director of "Casa Migrante -Tijuana-)
Gilberto has been part of the "Casa Migrante" (Migrant House)for over three decades and has seen the reality of those that are trying to have access to the United States and those that have been deported.  The "Casa Migrante" is a non-profit Civil Association established in Tijuana in 1987, assisting the most vulnerable migrants who arrive in the city, whether they are deportees, displaced persons, migrants in transit or refugees. They offer basic services: shelter, food and clothing, as well as a wide range of complementary services, totally free of charge, to aid the social reintegration of migrants. Gilberto also shares about the reality of Tijuana after the massive caravan arrived to the city. You do not want to miss this interview.

Interview with Garrick G. Scott (National Federation of the Blind)
Garrick is a champion advocate. He is a blind African American who has dedicated the major part of his life to support those whose life experiences are similar to ones he himself has experienced throughout his own life. As a young man he lacked mentorship, and is trying to be exactly that, a mentor for young people who are been forgotten or set on the margins by society.   In today's podcast, Garrick will share his life and the circumstances that took him not only to advocate for other, but to organize the first national conference for the blind in Mexico. He is one of the four Metas founders, two of whom themselves are Mexican. You can find him on Facebook as Garrick G. Scott. You can also check out the work of the organizations that Garrick is associated with: Metas International, National Federation of the Blind, Centers for Independent Living, and Citizen Advocacy.

Introduction to "Just Samaritan" Podcast
Here on Just Samaritan podcast we want to turn that notion on its head. The word Just can mean 'simply', and can also signify something derived from justice. We want to throw out the labels we put on others, particularly those whom we detest or hold in low esteem, and just known them as people. We are going to be speaking to many people, just people, but people who, despite being outcasted, live out the loving and caring actions of the Samaritan from Jesus' parable.  My name is Fede Apecena and this is…JUST SAMARITAN.
